Jeanne Griffin Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Niles High School who is planning to attend an accredited college or university as a full-time student. Applicant must indicate a career interest in teaching. Citizenship and leadership through participation in school and/or community activities required and interview are required.

 

Joseph Norton Sheteron Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 12

Applicant must be a graduating senior at Ross Beatty High School who participates in either baseball or softball, and who demonstrates a passion for the game. Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student at a two- or four-year institution.

 

Babb Family Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of an Osceola County high school who ranks in the top fifth of their graduating class. Applicant must have participated in community/volunteer service with involvement in extracurricular activities.

 

Business & Professional Women's Scholarship

Applicant must be a female Osceola County high school graduate who ranks in the top fifth of her graduating class. Applicant must participated in community/volunteer service and have involvement in extracurricular activities. Interview may be required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Evart High School who excels in the visual arts field. Interview may be required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior of an Osceola County high school or a graduating senior who resides in Osceola County. Participation in extracurricular and community activities and transcript are required.

 

S.J. Martin Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a graduate of an Osceola County high school who ranks in the top quarter of their graduating class. Applicant must participate in community and volunteer service. Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in education, students entering their sophomore or junior year in college, and students who show financial need. Interview may be required.

 

James F. McLachlan Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Evart High School who plans to attend an accredited two- or four-year trade school, college or university pursuing advanced trade or industrial skill. Participation in school and/or community volunteer service and transcript are required; interviews may be required.

 

Godfrey T. Norman Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of Reed City High School who intends to pursue a degree in pre-medical, pre-dental, or nursing. Minimum 3.5 GPA required; interview may be required.

Osceola Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of either an Osceola County high school or a home-schooled student who participates in school and/or community services. Transcript is required; interviews may be required.

 

Dave Porteous Scholarship

Applicant must be an Osceola County high school graduate who plans to attend Michigan State University. Applicant must participate in community/volunteer service and demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities.

 

Education First Opportunity Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Michigan or Ohio who is new incoming freshman and eligible to receive the Pell Grant. Minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT composite score of 20 are required.

 

Emerald Scholarship

Applicant must be a new incoming first-time freshman with a minimum 2.7 GPA.

 

180 Medical Scholarship

Applicant must have spina bifida, a spinal cord injury, or transverse myelitis.

 

AFSA National Second Chance Contest

Award: $1,000, Deadline: Mid-August

Applicant must be a high school graduate living in the United States. Applicant must read the "Fire Sprinkler Essay" (approximately 3,000 words) about automatic fire sprinklers and take a 10-question multiple-choice test. For each question answered correctly, students will receive one entry into a drawing for one of five $1,000 scholarships. For each question answered incorrectly, they will be given one more chance at the end of the exam to answer those questions correctly. Online contest only. Phone calls, e-mails, or faxed applications will not be accepted.

 

Ohio College Opportunity Grant

Award: $1,872, Deadline: October 1

Applicant must be an Ohio resident who demonstrates the highest levels of financial need with an expected family contribution of $2,190 or less and a maximum household income of $75,000 as determined by the FAFSA results. Applicant must be enrolled at an eligible Ohio or Pennsylvania institution.

 

Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: July 15

Applicant must be an Ohio resident enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an approved Ohio nurse education program with financial need. Applicant must intent to serve as a nurse after graduation or nurse who intents to serve as an instructor in Ohio.

 

E.K. & Lillian F. Bishop Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must have a permanent home address in Grays Harbor County, WA. Essay on the impact Grays Harbor County has had on applicant is required. Demonstrated financial need also required.

 

Barbara C. Littlefield Vocal Scholarship

Award: $2,100, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 25 who is a resident of the state of Maine. Applicant must be a music major in the fall semester at any accredited music school, college, or university. Audition (not to exceed 15 minutes) requires applicants to perform at least two memorized compositions from two different periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Modern).

 

STEM Educator Scholarship

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is enrolled in a masters program at a TSGC member institution in good standing. Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree.

 

TSGC Fellowship

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is registered as a full-time student in a graduate program.

 

TSGC Columbia Crew Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States who is registered for at least a half-time course load or more at a TSCG member institution in good standing as: a sophomore at a two-year institution; a sophomore at a four-year institution; a junior or senior at a four-year institution; or a first or second year student at a medical school.

 

MC Scots Scholarship

Panther Promise Tuition Waiver

Applicant must be an incoming freshman or transfer student attending Eastern Illinois University who has a household annual income ranging from $33,000 to $67,000.

 

Presidential Scholars Award
