Applicant must be a full-time graduate student in the Department of Religious Studies. Selection is based upon academic record, vocational promise, and financial need.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is able to demonstrate experience working with Native American populations.

Applicant must be an outstanding environmental studies student. Selection is based upon departmental recommendation.

 

Zora Neale Hurston Scholarship

Applicant must have had experience working with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds for one session of the Summer Writing Program. Selection is based upon exceptional literary merit, promise, and financial need.

 

Colin Wolcott Music Scholarship

Applicant must be a music student. Selection is based upon departmental recommendation.

 

Lucien Wulsin Scholarship in the Performing Arts

Award: $3,800, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be an undergraduate student in the B.F.A. program or returning graduate in the M.F.A. program. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

 

Martha Bonzi Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a graduate student in the religious studies program. Selection is based on service and academic promise and admissions application assessment.

 

American Art Therapy Association Conference Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: September 30

Applicant must be pursuing a graduate degree in transpersonal counseling psychology with a concentration in art therapy. Attendance at the American Art Therapy Association Conference (November) and financial need are required.

 

Owen Weber-Weinstein Scholarship

Applicant must be in the wilderness therapy or religious studies program. Preference is given to those programs, though students who have completed an independent study or religious pilgrimage may also apply.
