Applicants must be graduating high school seniors at a Colorado high school and must have plans to study engineering, mathematics or science at an accredited four-year postsecondary institution. They must be enrolled in college beginning in the fall of the application year, have an unweighted GPA of 3.7 or higher and have a composite ACT score of 28 or higher or a cumulative SAT score of 1200 or higher. Old Guard Oral Presentation Competition

Applicants must be certified as ASME student members in good standing. They must be undergraduate engineering students who have been chosen by their student section or academic department head to participate. Olive Lynn Salembier Memorial Reentry Scholarship

Applicants must be females who have been out of the engineering work force and out of school for a minimum of two years prior to reentry. Applicants must be full-time graduate students pursuing a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience, physiology, pharmacology, psychology, biochemistry, genetics, nursing, pharmacy or other related areas; have a dissertation research project; have a qualified mentor who can supervise the project and have access to resources to conduct the project. The project must be in the U.S. and its territories. The award is based on the quality of the dissertation project, relevance to epilepsy, the applicant's qualifications, the mentor's qualifications and the quality of the proposed environment.
