Richard H. Pierce Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Maine resident who has been accepted to or enrolled in any two- or four-year degree-granting college or university that is accredited by the Association of Schools and Colleges, both in-state or out-of-state. Selection is based on academic excellence, demonstrated financial need and contributions to school, community and/or work environment. A 300-word essay is required.

Applicant must be an incoming, full-time freshman or transfer student who is a U.S. citizen with a diverse ethnic or racial background. Minimum 2.75 GPA and financial need are required. Preference will be given to applicants declaring a nursing, education, social work, or dietetics major upon registering at the university.

 

Xcel Energy Scholarship for Women in Science

Applicant must be a female high school graduate who intends to major in science or math. Financial need and minimum 3.5 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 23 required.

 

Power Duo Scholarship

Applicant must be a current high school student who is a legal resident of the United States. Applicant must write three sentences or less about who their favorite fictional duo is.

 

Dorm Days Photo Scholarship

Don't Mess with Texas Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior who is a resident of Texas and has plans to pursue a two- or four-year degree at an accredited school in Texas. Award recognizes the achievements students who have taken leadership roles to prevent litter in their schools and/or communities.

 

Noet Humanities Scholarship

Applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the humanities. Applicant must fill out a quick one-minute form to be entered. Transcript required of recipients.

 

Dan Barney Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1650 (composite ACT score of 23) required.

 

AACE International Scholarships

Applicant must be a full-time student enrolled in a program related to cost engineering/cost management (agricultural engineering, architectural engineering, building construction, business administration, chemical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, mining engineering, electrical engineering, and quantity surveying). Applicant must be in their final undergraduate year and have been accepted to attend a full-time graduate program in the next academic year. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Angel Dolphin Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who plans to pursue a four-year college education in any creative art field, such as music, photography, cinematic arts, design, theater, voice, visual arts, and writing. Applicant must be an emerging artist who has endured a life-changing experience, due to a single-parent situation. Minimum 2.7 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 15; writing score of 14) required.

 

Arne Engebretsen Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a legal resident of Wisconsin who is a high school senior looking to pursue a degree in mathematics with with the goal of teaching at the K-12 level.

Applicant must be a full-time college freshman, sophomore, or junior student in the United States. A short survey and a 500-word essay about vision/contact lenses, are required. Having glasses or contacts is not required.

 

John Atkinson Lung Cancer Foundation Scholarship
