Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident, have completed a minimum of four semesters in an ABET approved Engineering Program at a Texas University, and must be enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based upon academic achievement and economic need. Program is to recognize and support outstanding engineering students by providing financial support through scholarships. Recipients will be recognized at the Annual Meeting of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers in San Antonio, TX in June. Funds will be available for the fall semester after enrollment verification.

Applicant must have scored at least a 600 in math, a 550 in critical reading and a 500 in writing on the SAT, or a 29 in math and a 25 in English on the ACT.

Applicant must graduate from a public high school in the city of Ventura and be able to demonstrate year round dedication to the game of baseball with an exemplary attitude towards teammates and coaches.
