The Franklin University Undergraduate Scholars Program

Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in six credit hours. Selection is based upon on prior academic achievement and quality of essay.

 

Music Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate an interest in vocal or instrumental music and the intention of performing at Lycoming. Applicant must audition and demonstrate scales, perform two contrasting pieces, and sight read.

Applicants must be Ohio residents, seeking a degree in Computer Science or Management Information Sciences, and maintain a 3.0 GPA.

 

Theatre Scholarship

Applicant interested in acting must audition by performing two memorized contrasting excerpts from scripts of choice. Applicant interested in directing or technical theatre must submit a portfolio of past work.

 

Creative Writing Scholarship

Applicant must submit five poems and/or a short story to the Office of Admissions.

 

Community Service Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate participation in community service projects and continue to do so at the school.

Applicant must be in the top fifth of their secondary school class, have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200, and demonstrate leadership potential and participation in scholastic and community organizations.
