Admissions Academic Scholarship - Non-Resident

Award: $3,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must not be a Florida resident.

 

Out of State Fee Waiver

Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA, minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200, and be an incoming freshman student or transfer student.

 

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a legal resident of Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming, have a minimum 3.4 GPA, rank in top quarter of secondary school class, have a minimum composite ACT score of 24 (combined SAT I score of 1100), and submit essay, transcript, and letter of recommendation.

 

Hawaii Veterans Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: January 5

Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii, be committed to serving Hawaii and its people. Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student with demonstrated financial need. Selection is based upon: letter of recommendation from non-relative, personal statement of education and career goals, activities, volunteer experience and good citizenship.

Hawaii State Federal Credit Union Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a member or the dependent of a member of our credit union. Applicant must also be attending a post-high school educational program.

 

Fukunaga Scholarship Foundation

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 1 (postmark date)

Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii (for at least one year), rank in top quarter of class, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and show a financial need. Must also demonstrate the ability, industriousness, dependability, and determination needed to succeed in business within the Pacific Basin area. Official high school/college transcripts through first semester of current year, two letters of recommendation, FAFSA Student Aid Report, and SAT Reasoning/ACT scores required.

 

Hawaii Rotary Youth Foundation Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, a legal resident of Hawaii, and a graduating high school senior who is applying to an accredited U.S. four-year college or university to earn a baccalaureate degree. Rotarians and their spouses, children, grandchildren, stepchildren, brothers, and sisters are not eligible.

 

R.W. Bob Holden Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 31

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be a resident of Hawaii, be enrolled full time, and submit a transcript, autobiography, career goals, and recommendation from principal, dean, instructor, or counselor.

 

ODKF Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is a resident of Hawaii and attending an accredited school full-time. Personal letter of intention, a list of competitive sports and awards, a letter from an athletic coach or trainer, tax return, transcripts, two letters of reference, and a recent photo are required to be submitted.

 

Robinson A. McWayne Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii, be a full-time undergraduate student, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need.

Kumazo and Yaeko Oda Scholarship

Applicant must be born in and be a resident of Hawaii (minimum four years of residency are required), have graduated from a high school in the state, and be registered to vote there as well. Minimum 2.0 GPA and financial need required.

 

Stephen Spaulding Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 5

Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii, be a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have demonstrated financial need.

Back to School Nursing Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 31; April 30; July 31; October 31

Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States who is at least 18 years of age or older at the time of registration and who plans to enroll in a previously unattended institution in the United States (award not open to residents in Florida, New York, Rhode Island or other states/territories). Applicant must be a nursing student. Response to why the applicant decided to pursue a nursing career is required.

 

Beau Mitchell Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant should preferably be a non-resident student who is a former member of the Boy Scouts of America with strong moral character and an orientation toward the outdoors. Financial need required.

 

Nonresident Incentive Tuition Waiver

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 1 (priority)

Applicant must be a nonresident of Oklahoma, have high GPA and ACT scores, and be the child or grandchild of OSU alumni/ae.

 

Sun Devil Scholarship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a high school senior enrolling for the fall semester as a full-time student. Applicant will be automatically considered for the award once they have been admitted to the university.

 

Tuition Exemption Scholarship for Nonresidents

Award: $9,400, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a resident of a state other than Louisiana, have high standardized test scores, and an excellent academic record, especially in English and math.

Amigo Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 high school GPA with minimum composite ACT score of 23 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1070) or have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA with a minimum composite ACT score of 26 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1170). Applicant must not be from New Mexico.

University President's Club Non-Resident Scholarship

Applicant must be a non-resident high school senior who will be an entering freshman. Selection will be based upon GPA and ACT/SAT scores, as well as proven leadership abilities, activities, and accomplishments.

MGMA Western Section Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a MGMA Western section member for two years. Applicant must submit a letter stating goals and objectives, a resume showing employment history with a brief narrative describing specific employment responsibilities in the health care field, and three letters of recommendation. Reference letters should address performance, character, potential to succeed, and need for scholarship support. Send for an application with a self-addressed, stamped, business-size envelope.

 

Scholarship for New Nebraskans

Applicant must not be a resident of Nebraska.

 

National Scholars Program

Applicant must not be a resident of Michigan or Ohio.

 

Mark Twain Nonresident Scholarship

Award: $5,500, Deadline: August 15

Applicant must rank in top 50% of graduating high school class, have a minimum composite ACT score of 27 (combined SAT I score of 1210), and be a resident of any state except Missouri.

 

Out-of-State Collegiate Scholar

Applicant must be an out-of-state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and a minimum composite ACT score between 28 and 29 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1250-1320).
