Applicant must be a Pinellas County student who has completed at least three semesters of culinary courses and will be pursuing a Culinary Arts or Hospitality degree from a college, university, or vocational-technical school. Minimum 2.5 GPA, essay, extracurricular activities, and teacher recommendations required.

Applicants must have been Washington State residents for at least two years, be enrolled in a Washington State accredited culinary or winemaking arts program and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Preference will be given to students who are attending school in Maine. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Undergraduate students must be in a nutrition, physical education or culinary arts program. Graduate students must be enrolled in a nutrition, public nutrition, physical education or American Dietetic Association Approved Pre-professional Practice program. Minimum GPA requirement for graduate students is 3.0 and for undergraduates is 2.5.
