Volunteer of the Year

Award: $2,500, Deadline: November 27

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Students will need to be nominated or self-nominate themselves via the online form including descriptions of volunteer opportunities the nominee has participated in. Winner will receive a 2-week volunteer program with IVHQ in a destination of your choice, travel insurance and flight voucher.

 

Green Home Improvement Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicants must be 18 years old or older and a U.S. citizen. Students should be high-school seniors who are accepted to or current college students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any college, university or trade school in the United States. Applicants must submit a 1,000- to 2,000-word essay on one of the topics listed on the website pertaining to green home improvements.

 

Play! Pokemon Scholarship

Applicants must participate in the Pokemon Championship series and be a finalist. Finalists receive thousands of dollars in prizes.

 

eCommerce Entrepreneur Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicants must be full- or part-time students with an interest in eCommerce yet studying any field. Students will need to submit a 750- to 1,000-word essay on one of the given topics.

 

Dudley DeBosier Law School Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: July 2

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be currently enrolled in a law degree program within the U.S. Students will need to submit a 500-600 word essay on one of the given prompts. Applications are available online and must include a photo of the applicant, a copy of his/her college GPA, LSAT score, as well as the typed essay.

 

True & Co. Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, female and enrolling/enrolled/have graduated college. Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher required. Students are required to submit short essays answering a series of questions regarding their aspirations and goals.

 

10 Words or Less Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: December 1

Applicants must be age 14-25 and will be attending school in the fall. Students will need to submit a response of 10 words or less explaining why they deserve to receive the scholarship. Applicants must also "like" the Facebook page.

 

$1,000 Annual College Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicants must be enrolled or planning on enrolling full time at a college or university for the semester they are applying to receive the scholarship fund. Students must compose a creative resume. Resumes must be as creative as possible, and do not have to be based on real life experience.

 

Alcohol Addiction Awareness Essay Contest

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. Permanent Residents, Refugees, Asylees, Cuban-Haitian Entrants, or Humanitarian Parolee, at least 18 years old and enrolled full-time in a U.S. institution for a graduate or undergraduate program. Essays must be less than 1,200 words and address the topic of: How alcohol abuse and addiction affects the modern society? What steps can be taken to decrease the impact of alcohol abuse and addictions on people and society?

 

Post a Note to Brighten Someone's Day!

Award: $1,500, Deadline: November 30

Applicants must be age 13 to 25 and live in or hold citizenship in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants will post notes around their school that will improve others' self-esteem and be automatically entered to win the scholarship.

 

Tell a Story to an Older Adult!

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 31

Applicants must be age 13 to 25 and live in or hold citizenship in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants will tell a story to an older adult and listed to one in return. Students will submit a picture of themselves with the older adult swapping stories and be entered to win the scholarship.

 

Tell Pharmacies to Remove Tobacco From Shelves!

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 31

Applicants must be age 13 to 25 and live in or hold citizenship in the U.S. or Canada. Students will send screen shots of posts on social media requesting pharmacies stop tobacco companies from targeting young customers. Applicants will receive one entry per screen shot, up to 20 maximum entries.

 

Guardian Debt Relief Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 31

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen who is a high-school senior or current undergraduate or graduate level college student. A minimum 3.0 GPA or higher is required. Students will submit a 2,000-word essay on one of the given prompts. The top 5 essays will receive an award.

Applicants must be rising high school seniors or students currently attending college.
