Darlene Hooley Scholarship for Oregon Veterans

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have actively served in the military post-09/11/2001 and must enroll at least half time. Preference to active duty Reserves or National Guard who deployed to an overseas conflict. FAFSA required.

 

John P. Hounsell Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Hood River County high school who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Deserving Student Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 29

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or student who plans to enroll in, or is already enrolled in, an undergraduate or graduate program of study in a regionally accredited community college, college, university, or vocational or technical institute. Minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and essay required.

 

Hirsch Family Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 10

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who has been accepted in, or a student already enrolled in, an undergraduate program of study in pursuit of a degree from a public or private, regionally accredited community college, college, university, or vocational or trade institute. Applicant must be the dependent child of an active employee of Eagle Materials, Performance Chemicals and Ingredients, Martin Fletcher, Hadlock Plastics, Highlander Partners, and/or any of their majority-owned subsidiaries.

 

Maria C. Jackson/General George A. White Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have served, or have parents who serve or have served, in the U.S. armed forces and resided in Oregon at time of enlistment. FAFSA and minimum 3.75 GPA required. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible.

 

Nettie Hanselman Jaynes Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be entering their senior or fifth year at a four-year college or university in Oregon and majoring in education. FAFSA required.

 

Claude R. and Sadie B. Jones Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Oakridge or Westfir High School.

 

Rollin and James Evans Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Junction City High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 GPA required for high school seniors. Preference to those majoring in agriculture, education, forestry, or public safety.

 

Ray Kageler Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a member of an Oregon credit union affiliated with the Northwest Credit Union Association who will attend a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Kirchhoff Family Fine Arts Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be attending a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon pursuing a degree in fine arts or graphic arts. FAFSA required. Preference to upper-division students, then to MFA students.

 

Kiwanis Club of Coos Bay Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Coos County high school who participated in Key Club or a similar service organization. FAFSA and minimum 3.5 GPA (3.0 for college students) required.

 

La Grande High School Class of 1962 Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a 1962 graduate of La Grande High School or an immediate relative (child, stepchild, grandchild, niece, nephew), or any graduate of La Grande High School.

 

Lilja Family Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Camas Valley, Days Creek, Glendale, Riddle, or South Umpqua High School, or a resident of south Douglas County who is a graduate of a private high school in Oregon. FAFSA required. Preference to those with an agricultural background who demonstrate leadership.

 

Harry Ludwig Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a visually impaired Oregon resident planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate studies. FAFSA required.

 

Chester and Helen Luther Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Oregon or Clark County, Washington who is a first-generation college attendee, is 25 years of age or older, and will enroll at least half time in a nursing or medicine major at a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon or Clark County, Washington. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Lillian McKelvey Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Burns or Crane Union High School or a resident of Grant or Harney County who is enrolling in their second year of a registered nursing program at a public or nonprofit college or university. Essay required.

 

Monroe Tree Farm Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Monroe High School who is attending a public or nonprofit college or university at least half time. FAFSA and minimum 2.0 GPA required. Preference to those attending an Oregon college.

 

G. Russell Morgan Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Century, Glencoe, or Hillsboro High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university, is planning to study law, is admitted to the Oregon State Bar, and will practice law in Oregon. FAFSA required. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible.

 

Wayne Morse Legacy Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who graduate from an Oregon high school and will attend a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA and minimum 2.8 GPA required.

 

Jeannette E. Mowery Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must attend Oregon Health & Science University or an Oregon law school and major in dentistry, law or medicine. FAFSA required.

 

Multnomah County Deputy Sheriffs' Association Dependents Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be the child or stepchild of an active or deceased member of the Multnomah County Deputy Sheriffs' Association.

 

Beck-Rocchi Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Newberg High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Ella McKinney Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate of an Oregon high school who will major in nursing at an Oregon college accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). FAFSA required.

 

Oregon Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college senior or above at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon pursuing a degree in accounting, business, criminal justice, finance, law, law enforcement, or risk management. Minimum 3.25 GPA required.

 

Oregon Library Association Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in graduate study toward the Master of LIbrary Science or comparable degree at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and essay required.

 

Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division Workers Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who is the dependent or spouse of an Oregon worker who has incurred permanent total disability (PTD) while working for an Oregon employer, or be receiving fatality benefits as a dependent or spouse of an Oregon worker fatally injured on the job while working for an Oregon employer. FAFSA and essay required.

 

Graduate Student Award Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled at least half time in an education, environmental, health-related, social work, or public service area at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Oregon State Fiscal Association Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a member or child of a member of the Oregon State Fiscal Association (OSFA) who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required. Members must study economics, finance, public administration, or related fields at least half time.

 

Oregon Wine Brotherhood Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Oregon or Washington who will major in culinary arts, enology, or viticulture at Chemeketa, Central Oregon, Lane, Mt. Hood, Southwestern Oregon, Umpqua, or Walla Walla Community College, Oregon State University, or the University of California at Davis. FAFSA required.

 

Pacific NW Federal Credit Union Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Oregon or Washington who is a member in good standing of Pacific NW Federal Credit Union. Essay required. Immediate family of Pacific NW Federal Credit Union employees and credit union elected, appointed officials are not eligible.
