Sunday Supper South Atlanta Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate who is currently enrolled or plans to enroll at a licensed or accredited culinary school. Preference given to students who are residents of or attending schools in the following states: AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, LA, VA, AK, TX, MS, KY, MD, MO, OK, WV.

 

Zov's Bistro Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate who is currently enrolled or plans to enroll at a licensed or accredited culinary school.

 

ESA Foundation Scholarship Program

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a woman or minority student and U.S. citizen pursuing a degree in computer and video game arts. Must be a full-time high school senior or college student with a GPA of at least 2.75.

 

College Scholarship Essay Contest

Applicant must be a high school senior or full-time college student in the United States. Essay on the following question required: Discuss the importance of keeping the environment clean. How does recycling make an impact on the environment? And how can the systems we, as a nation, have in place to be improved?

 

Harrison & Bodell Scouting Scholarship

Applicant must be currently enrolled at an accredited high school, college, or university in the United States who is a current or past member in good standing with The Boy Scouts of America or the Girl Scouts. Essay on the following question required: How has your time in the scouts prepared you for college?

 

Jack & Jill of America Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: May 25

Applicant must be an African-American high school senior who plans to become a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a high school, college, or graduate student. Essay required. Award will also include membership in JASNA, free registration/lodging for JASNA's Annual General Meeting, and one of Jane Austen's novels.

 

Legacy Scholarship

Applicant must be a college-bound high school senior who is living with a terminally ill parent and who demonstrates a compelling personal and financial need, a strong sense of family, and collegiate promise.

Applicant must be a high school senior who plans to pursue full-time studies in entomology, environmental science, forestry, horticulture, plant sciences, or related major at an accredited two- or four-year college.

 

ThanksUSA Scholarship

Applicant must be a child, under the age of 24, or spouse of a U.S. military personnel who is a high school senior or graduate enrolled in a two-or four-year university with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

 

MatchMade Scholarship

Award: $50,000, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be between the ages of 13 and 20 with a parent who met or remarried through Match.com. A 1-2 minute video that explains how your parents met on Match.com is required.

 

Hope Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and high school senior or college student who attends Alamo Community College, The University of Texas at San Antonio, University of the Incarnate Word, or St. Mary's University. Minimum 2.75 GPA, full-time student status, letter of recommendation, and community service involvement required. Preference will be given to dependents of active or retired CPS Energy employees.

 

Chely Wright Scholarship

Award: $1,250, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must a be a graduating high school senior who can prove they actively advocated for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) issues. Financial need must be demonstrated. Minimum 2.7 GPA, recommendation letter, essay, and demonstrated success in advocating for LGBT youth required.

 

Out of The Easy Writing Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is a high school senior. Essay required in reference to the following Charles Dickens' David Copperfield quote "Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show".

 

Krylon Clear Choice Art Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior, college freshmen, or college sophomore in the U.S. or Canada and enrolled in a visual arts program. Portfolio, personal statement, letter of recommendation, and copy of a transcript required.

 

Catina Rose Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is a victim or victim survivor of a crime. Must be a high school graduate or current high school senior between the ages of 17 and 25 years old with no arrests or convictions. Transcript, letter of recommendation, and personal statement required.

 

d'Oliveira & Associates College Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 30

Applicant must be a high school senior or full-time college student who plans to or is currently pursuing a degree/certification in law school, paralegal studies, legal assistant studies, court reporting, or any other law-related field from a community college, technical school, or business school in the United States. A 500-word essay persuading young people on the dangers of drinking and driving is required.

 

Creative Design Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is a graduating high school senior of a full-time college freshman, sophomore, or junior. Applicant must be a future graphic designer who creates a creative concept developed around Sunoco's high quality fuels for their retail POP.

 

Digital Marketing Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who is a graduating high school senior of a full-time college freshman, sophomore, or junior. Applicant must be a future digital marketer who can create a digital marketing campaign that could be implemented for the APlus convenience store brand.

 

Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest

Award: $1,000, Deadline: November 30

Applicant must be a high school senior who has been accepted into a college, university, or trade school or a currently enrolled college student. Applicant must create and upload a video that raises awareness about the severity of the consequences of drunk driving among your peers.

 

Dentistry at Happy Canyon Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior who has been or is accepted into a college, university, or trade school. Essay about daily habits, how the applicant can help others, and who the applicant has achieved healthy teeth is required.

Joye Law Firm Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in South Carolina who plans to attend a four-year institution in the fall. Essay on drinking and driving is required. Selection based upon written essays, school activities, positions of leadership, special honors and awards, community involvement, academic performance, and professional pursuits.

 

The Ornament Shop Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or current college/university student in the United States. Minimum 3.0 GPA and essay on the following question are required: If you were currently in the United States Congress, what would you suggest to eliminate the deadlock we have seen in recent years brought on by one party or another defeating proposed legislation simply on party lines and not related to the benefit of the bill or the general population?
