Transfer Student Scholarship

Priority is given to applicants with a minimum 3.0 GPA, a minimum 24 transfer credits, financial need, and no prior bachelor's degree.

 

Frank and Gina Day Scholarship

Applicant must be a Colorado resident or native. Selection is based upon academic merit and financial need.

 

Peter G. and Helen P. Koclanes Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien, and a Colorado resident. Applicant must be of at least one-quarter Greek heritage or demonstrate a commitment to the Greek community. Selection is based upon academic merit, leadership, community service, and financial need. Essay required.

 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Child of Veteran and Public Safety Officer (CVO) Supplemental Grant

Applicant must be a legal resident of Indiana and be admitted/enrolled in a degree program. Applicant's mother or father must have served in the Armed Forces of the United States, sustained a service-connected death or documented disability as evidenced by Veterans Administration records, or received a Purple Heart Award, and was discharged under honorable conditions.

 

Olive B. Cole Foundation Assistance Program

Applicant must be a Noble County, IN, resident who is attending or planning to attend the university as a part-time student and is able to demonstrate financial need. Currently enrolled applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. FAFSA required.

 

Dr. Beaumont S. Cornell Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 10

Applicant must be a graduate of an Adams, Allen, or Huntington County, IN, high school and plan to become a medical doctor. First-time student applicants must rank in top tenth of secondary school class and have a minimum combined SAT score of 1650 (composite 24 ACT or greater) or rank in top quarter of secondary school class and have a minimum combined SAT score of 1870 (composite 28 ACT score or greater). Continuing IPFW student applicants must have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

 

Fort Wayne Press Club Scholarship

Award: $700, Deadline: March 10

Applicant must be a continuing IPFW student or a high school senior graduating from an accredited public, private, or parochial high school in the northeastern Indiana counties in an active journalism or publications program. Applicant must have been recommended by a journalism faculty member of nominated by a high school publications teacher, and demonstrate an interest in pursing journalism as a career. Selection is based upon merit, including academic grades, extracurricular activities, and demonstrated financial need.

 

Friends of IPFW Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 10

Applicant must be a high school graduate who ranks in top 30% of secondary school class, has a minimum combined SAT score of 1650 (composite ACT score of 24), and has been admitted to the university.

 

Helen I. and Rodney E. Nern Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Minimum 3.0 GPA required of continuing students. FAFSA required of all applicants.

 

FACT Graduating Senior Scholarship

Applicant must be a FACT member or child or grandchild of a member. Award open to high school seniors, people who have graduated from high school four or more years ago and are now planning to enroll in an undergraduate college, university, or trade school program, and students currently enrolled in an undergraduate college, university or trade school program. Selection is based upon academic involvement, student involvement, community involvement, and essay.

Applicant must be a West Virginia resident and a graduate of Mason County High School. Selection is based upon financial need, academic performance, and potential leadership abilities. Letter of recommendation, personal essay, transcripts, and IRS form 1040 required.
