University of Toledo Polish Mothers' Club Scholarship

Award: $795, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a United States citizen, who is a quarter Polish, and has Toledo as their permanent residence. Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA is required.

 

University Women's Club Nontraditional Student Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a women and a nontraditional student with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Financial need and academic achievement are required.

 

University Women's Commission Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a women who has a minimum of 24 semester credit hours completed at the university. Two letters of reference, essay, transcript, commitment to social and/or women's issues through course of study, career plans, and community and campus activities are required. Financial need and GPA will also be considered.

 

Raoul Wallenberg Scholarship

Study Abroad Scholarship

Applicant must maintain legal residence in Massachusetts, personal statement of no more than 500 words, letter of recommendation from department head of your major, transcript and a letter of endorsement from the president of the GFWC of MA club in the community of your legal residence. Award is to be used for a study-abroad program.

 

Memorial Conservation Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a New Jersey resident who is a full-time student in good standing at an accredited college. Applicant must be an undergraduate enrolled in a major curriculum of agriculture or natural resource conservation, including agronomy, soil science, plant science, forestry, geography, journalism, agricultural education, environmental science, wildlife or fisheries management, environmental engineering, and other areas related to conservation.

 

Audrey L. Wright Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a resident of Kent County Mich., for at least three years, pursuing a degree in Foreign Language or Education, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

 

Economic Club Business Study Abroad Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must have been a resident of Kent, Allegan, Ottawa, or Muskegon, Mich., counties for at least three years, or be a resident student at a public college in the West Michigan, area for at least two years. Recipient must study abroad through any accredited college/university specified, with major in accounting, business administration, economics, managerial science, and mathmatics, witha minimum 3.0 GPA. selection basis includes financial need.

 

Llewellyn L. Cayvan String Instrument Scholarship

Selection is based upon financial need.

 

Altrusa International of Grand Rapids Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of one of the following Michigan counties for at least six months: Kent, Allegan, Ionia, Ottawa, Montcalm, or Musegon. Applicant must be a returning student or new college student who has not attended college for 24 months prior to application. Selection is based upon financial need and two letters of recommendation.

 

Albert Blanchard Carr Endowed Scholarship

Applicant must be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen and be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas. Undergraduate applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Graduate applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA either in all graduate coursework or in the last 60 credits of undergraduate coursework. Financial need is considered.

 

National Merit Awards

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist or Semi-Finalist, and must have listed U of Southern Mississippi as his or her first-choice institution.

 

Wachovia Student Scholars Annual Program

Applicant must be a South Carolina resident with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Academic Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student in the top quarter of their high school class with a minimum composite ACT score of 25 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1090). Applicant must enroll as a full-time student at the university immediately following high school.
