Applicant must be accepted into an accredited nursing program in Oregon and be taking courses offered in the nursing curriculum (not pre-requisite courses) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection will be based upon leadership abilities/experiences; experiences with other cultures, minority groups, and under-served populations; career plans in nursing; and reasons for needing scholarship funds. Letter of Acceptance from nursing program, official transcript of all college coursework, and signed GPA form are required to be submitted.

Applicant must also be of good character (demonstrated through letters of recommendation), and also have demonstrated by his or her past behavior, that he/she believes in the American way of life.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Michigan resident, be enrolled in an ABET-accredited Michigan college, be a member of MSPE, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate intent to enter the engineering field after graduation.
