Applicant must be a member of a Teacher Cadet program in South Carolina. On-campus interview, minimum 3.0 GPA, and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 24) required.

 

Newberry Community Leadership Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a resident of the City of Newberry who has demonstrated outstanding academic potential, personal leadership, and a commitment to civic responsibility, volunteerism, and community service. Nomination and letter of recommendation; original essay on his/her leadership and civic interests and intentions while attending the College; resume of prior leadership, civic, and volunteer activities required.

 

Greenville Area Alumni Scholarship

Greenwood Area Alumni Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of and attended a high school in Greenwood, Abbeville, or McCormick Counties. Applicant must rank in the top half of their secondary school class and demonstrate potential for campus and community leadership.

 

African American Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior student who has demonstrated potential for community leadership as demonstrated by involvement in North Carolina organizations and activities. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Applicant must be a school or youth group between the ages of 17 and 25 that utilizes collaborative teamwork in an underwater robotics project.

 

Don Reynolds Memorial Scholarship

The Art of Underwater Photography Scholarship

Applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 24. Scholarship covers a hands-on introduction study class in underwater photography in the New York metro area.

Applicant must be a high school senior or student currently enrolled in college. Applicant must publish a blog that describes their dream home, along with the 'Blogging for Dollars Scholarship' banner at the bottom of their piece. The blog URL must be sent to the sponsor along with your name, school, and area of study.

Applicant must attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Minimum 3.7 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1280 (composite 29 ACT) required.

Applicant must be a resident of Tennessee who will attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Minimum 3.5 GPA and 27 ACT required.

 

Tortoise Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Kansas or Missouri who plans to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study towards a bachelor's degree or be a non-resident of either state who plans to enroll as a full-time student in a four-year bachelor's program at a Kansas or Missouri accredited university or college. Minimum 3.3 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score (including writing) of 1680 (or ACT score of 24) required Superscoring is allowed. Selection based upon demonstrated entrepreneurial success/accomplishments, academic record, extracurricular activity, and anticipated future potential.

 

AfterCollege/AACN Student Scholarship Fund

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 31; June 30; September 30; December 31

Applicant must be currently seeking a bachelors, masters, or doctorate degree as a full-time student at an AACN member institution in the field of nursing. Special consideration will be given to students in a graduate program with the goal of becoming a nurse educator; students completing an R.N.-to-B.S.N or R.N.-to-M.S.N. program; and those enrolled in an accelerated program. Minimum 3.0 GPA, online application, and brief essay (250 word maximum) on goals and aspirations as they relate to education, career, and future plans required.

 

University Journalism Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior at an Ohio college or university. Applicant must be majoring in a field relevant to the newspaper industry, particularly journalism, advertising, marketing, or a communications degree program. Minimum 2.5 GPA and college transcript required.

 

ONWA Annual Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant can be male or female and must be enrolled as a junior or senior at an Ohio college or university. Applicant must be majoring in a field relevant to the newspaper industry, particularly journalism, advertising, marketing, or a communications degree program. Minimum 2.5 GPA.

 

Minority Journalism Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a graduating senior at an Ohio high school who will be a freshman at an Ohio college or university. Applicant must be African-American, Hispanic, Asian American, or American Indian who plans to major in a field relevant to the newspaper industry, particularly journalism, advertising, marketing, or a communications degree program. Minimum 2.5 GPA and high school transcript required.

 

Goodman Scholarship Fund Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be a member of the Order of the Arrow who is preparing for a professional Scouting career and will attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

Christopher Grasso Scholarship
