Michigan Resident Award of Excellence

Award: $1,500, Deadline: December 31

Applicant must be a graduate of a Michigan high school who will attend Grand Valley State University. Minimum 3.5 GPA and composite ACT score of 26 required.

 

Non-Resident Award for Excellence

Award: $5,800, Deadline: December 31

Applicant must attend Grand Valley State University. Minimum 3.5 GPA and composite ACT score of 26 (or 1190 combined SAT Reasoning) required.

 

Barbara H. Padnos International Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a full-time student at Grand Valley State University who will participate in an approved study abroad program. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Barry Castro Business Ethics Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be sophomores at Grand Valley State University who are enrolled full-time in the Seidman College of Business. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

College Opportunity Scholarship

Applicant must be a student who is graduating from a Linn County high school and plans to pursue a degree at a college or university in Iowa. Selection based upon financial need, demonstrated career goals, and participation in extracurricular activities.

Applicant must be an Arkansas resident who is a graduate of an Arkansas high school. Minimum composite ACT score of 28 or 29 and minimum 3.5 GPA. Minimum award amount granted to applicant with composite ACT score of 28; maximum award amount granted to applicant with composite ACT score of 29.

 

ASTATE Pride Scholarship

Applicant must be an Arkansas resident who is a graduate of an Arkansas high school. Minimum composite ACT score between 25 and 27 and minimum 3.25 GPA required. Award amount varies depending on ACT score.

 

ASTATE Spirit Scholarship

Applicant must be an Arkansas resident who is a graduate of an Arkansas high school. Minimum composite ACT score of 24 and minimum 3.25 GPA required.

 

Arkansas Promise Scholarship

Applicant must be an Arkansas resident who is a graduate of an Arkansas high school. Minimum composite ACT score of 22 and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Gold Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who does not reside in Delaware. Selection based upon outstanding academic achievement.

 

Silver Scholarship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: March 15 (Priority)

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who is not a resident of Delaware. Selection based upon above average academic achievement.

 

Belk-Hensdale Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a first-year student from Cumberland, Bladen, Columbus, Scotland, Moore, or Richmond Counties. Applicant must rank in top fifth of high school graduating class and have positive involvement in extra-curricular and community activities. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Fulmore Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a first-time freshman who is from Davie, Guilford, or Robeson Counties. Applicant must have a positive record of involvement in extra-curricular and community activities. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required.

 

Lloyd V. Hackley Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be a graduate of or prospective graduate of a Cumberland County high school with high academic achievement and strong moral character. Minimum 3.2 GPA and two letters from school or community leaders confirming applicant's exemplary moral character required.

 

Capel Scholars Program

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is a resident of North Carolina and has a record of positive contributions to the university an/or community. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
