Essay answering the following question must be submitted: Why are government benefit programs (Lifeline Assistance Program, Food Stamps, Medicaid, etc) important resources for helping people with financial difficulties? What can we do to improve the effectiveness of these programs? Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Selection based upon originality, thoughtfulness, and insight. Recipient must provide a copy of their high school or college transcript and a high resolution headshot photograph of themselves.
