Applicant must be a first-year student with a record of outstanding volunteer community service in high school who has performed a minimum of 100 hours beyond any high school 'mandatory' hours.

 

Latina Leadership Partner Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time, first-year or transfer Lehigh Valley Latina student. Selection based upon academic excellence and leadership.

 

The Warrior Award

Applicant must have a combined SAT Reasoning score between 870 and 930 (composite ACT score between 18 and 19) and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Babson Award

Applicant must have a combined SAT Reasoning score between 1250 and 3600 (composite ACT score of 29 and 36) and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Trustee Award

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student. Minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 19 required. Selection based upon academic excellence.

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be a high school senior, high school graduate, undergraduate, or graduate student who plans to pursue a degree in science or engineering. Demonstration of traits of a high moral character and leadership qualities required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Guggenheim Fellowship

Award: $45,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be a pre-doctoral student who has completed preliminary course work and examinations and is engaged in dissertation research. Postdoctoral applicants should have received their Ph.D. within the past seven years. Fellowship is a competitive three to 12 month in-residence fellowship for pre-or postdoctoral research in aviation and space history.

 

Charles A. Lindbergh Chair in Aerospace History

Award: $100,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be a scholar who has distinguished records of publication who is working on, or anticipates working on, books in aerospace history. Award is for a 12 month fellowship; support is available for replacement of salary and benefits.

 

Verville Fellowship

Award: $55,000, Deadline: January 15

Nine to 12 month in-residence fellowship intended for the analysis of major trends, developments, and accomplishments in the history of aviation or space studies. The fellowship is open to interested candidates with demonstrated skills in research and writing. Publishing experience should demonstrate either a mid-level academic record of accomplishment or proven ability to reliably engage broader audiences. An advanced degree in history or a related field is preferred but not a requirement.

 

Wells Fargo American Indian Scholarship

Applicant must be an enrolled member of a United States federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, as verified through submission of the AIGC Tribal Eligibility Certificate. Applicant must be a full-time college junior or senior at an accredited college or university who is pursuing a career in fields relating to banking, resort management, gaming operations, and management/administration (including accounting, finance, information technology, and/or human resources). Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need required.

McCaughan Heritage Scholarship

Adelle and Erwin Tomash Fellowship in the History of Information Technology

Applicant must be a graduate student who is writing a doctoral dissertation in the history of computing. Preference will be given to applicants indicating a need to use CBI materials, planning research in residence at CBI, and willing to make a brief presentation of their research findings to CBI staff.

 

Christian A. Herter Memorial Scholarship Program

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen/eligible non-citizen who is a permanent legal resident of Massachusetts and enrolled in a public or private secondary school in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Unitil Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Unitil service territory in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts who plans to major in science, technology, engineering, or math. Selection based upon academic merit, financial need, other scholarships awarded, outside student activities and other relevant factors such as the number of hours worked outside of class during the school year.

 

Law School Scholarship Essay Contest

Applicant must be currently enrolled in an American Bar Association-approved institution, the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's School, or any law school provisionally approved. Essay on one of the following topics (more information on each topic provided on sponsor's site): cerebral palsy or car accidents. Applicant may post their essay on a law school blog or website or on their own personal blog or website. Once the essay is posted, the applicant must notify the sponsor and provide the URL where the essay is posted.
