Wisconsin Association Awards

Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident or a student in Wisconsin, who is enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in Wisconsin at the professional or associate degree level.

 

Elekta Radiation Therapy Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident enrolled in an accredited radiologic science program, who will finish the degree or certificate program after September 1, 2012. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Jerman-Cahoon Student Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident enrolled in an accredited magnetic resonance, nuclear medicine, radiography or sonography program, who will finish the degree or certificate program after September 1, 2012. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Royce Osborn Minority Student Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be a minority U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident enrolled in an accredited magnetic resonance, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, radiography, or sonography program, who will finish the degree or certificate program after September 1, 2012. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Varian Radiation Therapy Advancement Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be an ASRT member who holds an unrestricted state license or is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent certifying body) who has applied to or is currently attending an accredited degree or certificate program to further their career in the radiation therapy field, and will not finish until after September 1, 2012.

 

Siemens Clinical Advancement Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be an ASRT member who holds an unrestricted state license or is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent certifying body) who has applied to or is currently attending an accredited degree or certificate program to enhance their clinical practice skills in medical imaging, and will not finish until after September 1, 2012.

 

Medical Imaging Educators Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be an ASRT member who holds an unrestricted state license or is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent certifying body) who has applied to or is currently attending an accredited degree or certificate program to enhance their position as a program director, faculty member, clinical coordinator or clinical instructor, and will not finish until after September 1, 2012.

Preference for students who have participated in community service programs dealing specifically with hunger and poverty in the U.S. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Frank Knox Memorial Fellowship at Harvard University

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident who is a high school senior planning to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the U.S., who demonstrates ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community, or work-related activities.

 

AXA Achievement Community Scholarship Program

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident who is a high school senior planning to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States, who demonstrates ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community, or work-related activities.

 

Higher Education Scholarship

Applicant must be a BBNC shareholder with a high school diploma or GED, who is enrolled in an accredited college or university as a full-time student, or as a part-time student enrolled in at least six credit hours, and demonstrates financial need. Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA required.

 

Vocational Education Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a BBNC shareholder with a high school diploma or GED who is enrolled as a full time student in an accredited vocational institution, college or university and demonstrates financial need. Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA required.

 

Aboriginal Postsecondary Education and Training Bursary

Award: $3,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be of aboriginal descent, demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residency requirements.
