Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national or legal permanent resident of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity (as defined by the U.S. Census) who comes from a low-income family (income is 60% or below the median household income for the areas in which they live) and will be enrolling in an accredited college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-time, first-year student in the upcoming academic year. Preference for students who have participated in community service programs dealing specifically with hunger and poverty in the U.S. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
