Youth Scholarship Program

Award: $7,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who will receive a diploma from an accredited high school, located within the state where they will apply. Applicant must have a father, mother, or natural guardian who meets the following qualifications: is a full-time active employee in the state where the applicant applies, is a full-time paid member of the police or sheriff's department or fire department, or is a full-time public safety officer. Selection is abased upon academic achievement, national test scores, extracurricular participation, and an essay.

 

Dexter/USBC High School All-American Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 24

Applicant must be registered in a USBC High School Program. Awarded to five boys and five girls.

 

Billy Welu Scholarship

Applicant must be a college student with a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.

 

Studio Art Scholarships

Awarded for exemplary musical ability in any instrumental or vocal category in which Kenyon's Department of Music offers private instruction.

 

Flight Network Fly High Scholarship

Applicant must be a Canadian or American citizen or hold a valid student Visa who is currently enrolled in a Canadian or American college/university with a minimum 3.0 GPA. A 500 to 1,000 word essay about a travel-related experience or topic is required.

 

Minister, Minister's Dependent, Missionary, and Missionary's Dependent Scholarship

Applicant must be an Assembly of God licensed or ordained minister or be the dependent of an Assembly of God licensed or ordained minister. Applicants from other denominations may be considered.

 

Merit Award

Selection is based upon portfolio review, 15 slides of work, two letters of recommendation, transcripts, test scores, and artist's statement.

 

Future Teachers Scholarship

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who plans to teach in a critical subject shortage area in Oklahoma. Essay required. Award may be used at Oklahoma public and private colleges only.

 

Minority Teachers Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be an African-American, Asian, Hispanic, or Native American resident of Arkansas, with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicant must attend an approved Arkansas school, have completed 60 semester credit hours, and been admitted to a teacher education program or successfully passed PPST examination.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must rank in top 10% of class, have a minimum composite ACT score of 26, be accepted into university, and have faculty interviews. Accepted application and two recommendations are required to be submitted.

 

Mary Marshall Nursing Scholarship for Licensed Practical Nurses

Applicant must be a Virginia resident at least one year prior to application, be accepted or enrolled as a full-time student, and have a high school transcript or GED. Financial need must be demonstrated. Application and official transcripts must be submitted.

 

Vermont Healthcare Human Resources Association Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue a degree in healthcare and/or human resources at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding and intends to work in Vermont for a minimum of one year. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Peyton Anderson Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior graduating from a Bibb County high school, who will attend one of nine specified Middle Georgia colleges and universities. Chicana/Latina Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must be have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be a woman and Latina. Applicant must attend school in in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, San Mateo, Solano, or Sonoma County, and must have resided in one of those counties for the past two years.

 

Maine Difference Scholarship

Applicant must be a Maine resident attending a Maine college or university. Applicant's studies must focus on the ecology and economics of Maine.
