Boren Fellowship

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is enrolled in or applying to a graduate program at an accredited United States college or university. Award provides help to students to add an important international and language component to their graduate education through specialization in the area of study, language study, or increased language proficiency. Fellowship supports study and research in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests, including Africa, Asian Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

 

Laval University Scholarship

In-College Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled full-time in college, have a 2.5 cumulative/2.35 term GPA (science and engineering majors); 3.0 GPA (all other majors), hold an AFROTC professional officer course (POC) allocation (two-year applicant) or successfully compete for an allocation at a later date (three-year applicants), and meet weight, fitness, medical, age, citizenship, Air Force qualifying test score, and other eligibility requirements.

 

Western Undergraduate Exchange

Polaire Weissman Fund for Conservation Fellowship

Applicant must be interested in a career in costume, and have an advanced level of study in costume conservation. Selection is based upon: full resume, a statement not to exceed one thousand words, describing what the applicant expects to accomplish and how the museum's facilities can be utilized to achieve their objectives, tentative work schedule, three letters of recommendation, at least one academic, and one professional, and an official transcript.

 

Jane and Morgan Whitney Fellowship

Applicant must be studying in a field related to a collection of the museum. Preference given to applicant in the decorative arts who is under the age of 40. Award is for research at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

 

Theodore Rousseau Fellowship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: November 4

Applicant must have a goal of entering a museum as a curator of painting. Selection is based upon a full resume, a two-part statement no more than one thousand words, specifying what the applicant wishes to accomplish during the fellowship period, and how the museum's resources can be utilized to their goals; three letter of recommendations, a list of other applications for fellowships or grants applied for in the same period, and an official transcript.

 

Internship for College Students

Applicant must have a broad background in art history. Resume, two academic recommendations, transcripts, list of art history or other relevant courses taken, list of foreign languages known, and essay are required to be submitted. Award is to work on departmental projects, give gallery talks, and work at the Visitor Information Center for ten weeks.

 

Internship for Graduate Students

Award is for work on projects matching recipient's academic background, skills, and career goals. This internship is designed to promote diversity in the future pool of museum professionals.

 

Lifchez/Stronach Curatorial Internship

Applicant must want to continue a career in art history and should have a background of financial need or other disadvantage that might jeopardize his or her pursuing a career without the internship. Resume, two academic recommendations, transcripts, list of art history or other relevant courses taken, list of foreign languages known, and an essay are required to be submitted. Award is for work on projects appropriate to academic background, skills, and career goals.

 

International Small Research Grant

Applicant must be a registered nurse with a current license, have a master's or doctoral degree, or be enrolled in a doctoral program. Research application is required; research project must be ready to implement. Multidisciplinary and international research is encouraged. Preference given to Sigma Theta Tau members, other qualifications being equal.

 

Virginia Henderson Clinical Research Grant

Applicant must be a registered nurse with a master's degree in nursing, and actively involved in some aspect of health care delivery, education, or research in a clinical setting. Membership in Sigma Theta Tau is required.

 

American Association of Critical Care Nurses Critical Care Grant
