Salvatori Fellowship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: January 17

Applicant must be a member of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute who receives The Intercollegiate Review. Applicant must engage in graduate studies for the purpose of teaching at the college level. Those attending pre-professional (medical, law, divinity, business, etc.) schools are ineligible. Award seeks to further an understanding and appreciation of both the principles of the Founding Fathers and the culture that formed their values and views.

 

SPAB Lethaby Scholarship

Award: $7,000, Deadline: December 1

Award is for nine-month building conservation training in the UK. Selection is based upon application and interview in London. Award is in British Pounds Sterling.

 

Vernon T. Swain P.E./Robert E. Chute P.E. Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a Maine resident at time of application, have a minimum SAT score of 1100, and submit an essay.

International Technology Education Association Scholarship - FTE/Undergraduate

Applicant must be a member of ITEA, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be a current full-time student, show interest in teaching, and submit faculty recommendations.

 

Early Grads Summer Incentives Scholarship

Award: $600, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled in a summer session for at least six credits, and must be able to graduate in four years.

 

National Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a current member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary or the son/daughter or grandchild of a current member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and be in at least his or her second year of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university.

 

Irish Research Fund Grant

Award is to support scholarly research in the study of Irish in America.

Samsung Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school junior who will participate in the current session of either an American Legion Boys State or American Legion Auxiliary Girls State Program, and who is also a direct descendant (i.e. child, grandchild, great grandchild, or a legally adopted child) of a United States wartime veteran who served on active duty during one or more of the periods of war officially designated as eligibility dates for membership. Selection will be based, in part, upon the following criteria: academic record; involvement in school activities; involvement in community activities; community service; financial need and additional bonus points in the selection process will be awarded to descendants of U.S. veterans of the Korean War.

 

Top 10% Scholarship

Applicant must be in the top ten percent of their graduating class and have a composite ACT score between 19 and 23.

 

Fisher Communications, Inc. Minority Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must be involved in broadcasting, broadcast technology, marketing, or journalism courses. Applicants must be of non-white origin and must be at least a sophomore (by fall term of scholarship year) enrolled in the following: a broadcast, broadcast technology, marketing, or journalism curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree at an accredited four-year college or university. A broadcast curriculum at an accredited community college, transferable to such a four-year baccalaureate degree program. A broadcast curriculum at an accredited vocational-technical school. If you are a permanent resident of the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, or Montana tuition may be applied to an in-state or out-of-state school. If you are not a permanent resident of the above-mentioned states, tuition must be applied to a school in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, or Montana.

 

Hanfmann and Mellink Fellowship Program

Applicant must have completed the Ph.D. or be a candidate for M.A. or Ph.D. degrees. The eligible archaeological fields include pre-history, protohistory, ancient Near Eastern, Anatolian, Greek and Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman. Selection based on excellence in promise and excellence in achievement. Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in the language of the host institution.

Applicant must have valedictorian status and have goals consistent with the college. The college reserves the right to make changes to this award in cases where the graduating class is less than 50. SAT Reasoning and ACT scores must be received by March 1.

 

Bache Renshaw Fellowship

Applicant must be a member of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute who receives The Intercollegiate Review. Applicant must engage in graduate studies for the purpose of teaching at the college level. Those attending pre-professional (medical, law, divinity, business, etc.) schools are ineligible. Applicant must be a female resident of Vermont who is a single parent with primary custody of at least one child 12 years of age or younger and will attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Financial need must be demonstrated.
