NIADA Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a high school senior legally residing in one of the NIADA regions who has maintained an outstanding academic achievement record and is able to demonstrate an aptitude for college work as measured by SAT or ACT scores. High school transcript is required. Four awards are granted each year; one from each designated region.

 

Korean-American Scholarship

Applicant must plan to pursue post-secondary education. Financial need and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Haynes Scholarship

Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Essay and letter of reference required.

 

Louis Stokes Health Scholars Program

Award: $8,000, Deadline: March 15

Program seeks to increase the number of qualified, yet underrepresented college students entering the health workforce. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate an interest to work in underserved communities.

 

APICS CPIM Pearson VUE Jumpstart Program

Applicant must be a full-time student member who will be taking the Basics of Supply Chain Management exam. Vouchers will be awarded to first 100 eligible applications received between January 1 and February 15.

 

Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago Academic Scholarship Program

Award: $8,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be Jewish who was born/raised in the Chicago Metropolitan area or who has one year of employment in the Chicago area prior to entering school. Undergraduate applicants must be entering their junior or senior year; graduate applicants must be entering an accredited, professional graduate school as a full-time student. Applicant must plan to remain in Chicago after completing school and have the intention to be in a career in the helping professions. Personal interview required.

 

STEM Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States who is registered for at least a half-time course load or more at a TSCG member institution in good standing as: a sophomore at a two-year institution; a sophomore at a four-year institution; a junior or senior at a four-year institution; or a first or second year student at a medical school.

 

T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood West Virginia Scholarship

Applicant must be a West Virginia resident who works a minimum of 30 hours per week at a licensed child care center, Head Start, or registered Family Child Care Home. Applicant must be currently enrolled in or accepted in on one of the following at a participating college or university: an associate degree program for early childhood education; a bachelor's degree program for early childhood education; or a bachelor's degree program for elementary education with an endorsement in early education Pre-K (T.E.A.C.H. will only pay for the early education endorsement classes). Recipient must commit to continue working at their present place of employment for at least one year depending on the type of scholarship awarded.

 

Merle Curti Award

Award: $2,000, Deadline: October 1

Award recognizes books in the field of American social, intellectual, and/or cultural history.

 

Pathways Scholarship

Award: $3,800, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a student attending Dominican University of California and be able to demonstrate financial need and enroll in the Pathways program for adult students.

 

Academic Honor Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: April 1 (priority)

Applicant must be a first-time, full-time freshman, have a minimum 3.25 GPA, and have a minimum composite ACT score of 25 (combined SAT I score of 970). FAFSA is required.

 

Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an active member of Phi Kappa Phi and must not have graduate credit prior to the academic year for which they are applying.

 

California Farm Bureau Scholarship

Award: $2,750, Deadline: March 1

Selection is based upon scholastic achievement, career goals, leadership skills, and determination. Scholarship must be used at a four-year college or university in California.

 

Walter S. Barr Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Hampden County, MA, private or public high school. Selection is based upon academic ability, standardized test scores, and financial need.

 

Trustee Scholarship

Applicant must rank in the top fifth of their high school class, and have a minimum combined SAT score of 1210 (composite ACT score of 29).

 

Presidential Scholarship

Award: $8,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must have either a minimum composite ACT score of 29 (SAT combined reading and math score of 1280 or above) and rank in the top tenth of class or have a Regent Admission Index (RAI) or 335 or above. Interview is required; university must receive ACT scores prior to August 1 of senior year.

 

Norman V. Peale Scholarship

Award: $14,000, Deadline: December 12

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 26. Selection is based upon scholarship competition.

 

TREA Memorial Foundation National Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be the child or grandchild of a TREA member in good standing and be a dependent.

 

Laughlin Fellowship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.4 GPA, with straight A's in at least one academic subject and evidence of ability in at least one extracurricular area. Application, essay, and interview required.

 

Hodson Trust Academic Scholarship

Award: $9,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must submit application and essay and interview with faculty member (if selected). A resume of list of extracurricular leadership activities helpful. Only students who complete the application for admission (and who are admitted) are eligible for interview and final award. Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 weighted GPA and 1200 SAT/26 ACT for consideration.

 

Hodson Academic Scholarship

Award: $9,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be from an under-represented population. Applicant must submit application, essay, and interview (if selected). Resume or list of extracurricular leadership activities helpful. Only applicants who complete an application for admission (and are admitted) are eligible for interview and final award. Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

 

VSAC Board of Directors Scholarship (Joseph Boutin)

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Caledonia, Essex or Orleans County or Burlington, VT who will attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Presidential Scholarship for Community College Graduates

Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA and be a resident of Michigan. Applicant must have an associate's degree and/or a minimum of 50 transferable credit hours from a Michigan community college. Maximum 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) earned at a four-year institution is allowed toward eligibility.

Applicant must have completed one year at Multnomah Bible Coll and Seminary.

 

ATU Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be an ATU member in good standing or the child or stepchild of a deceased member who was in good standing at the time of death, and be planning to enter their first year of post-secondary education for the first time. One Canadian and four U.S. scholarships will be awarded each year.

 

Gerber Foundation Merit Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a resident and graduate from an accredited high school in Muskegon or Newaygo County, Michigan.

 

Virginia Valk Fehsenfeld Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Kent County, Mich., have a minimum 3.4 GPA. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.
