National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Fellowship

Award: $25,200, Deadline: February 1

One four- to six-month fellowship for scholars who have a Ph.D. or have completed their professional training. Social and political scientists are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or foreign nationals living in the U.S. three years immediately preceding the application deadline.

 

Youth Incentive Award

Award: $400, Deadline: September 1

Applicant must be a high school student who submits a proposal for topics such as field collecting trips to conduct beetle species inventories or diversity studies, attending workshops or visiting entomology or natural history museums for special training and projects on beetles, studying aspects of beetle biology, etc. The proposed activities or projects will be evaluated on their degree of creativity, educational benefit to the applicant, scientific merit, feasibility and budgetary planning.

 

Community Service and Volunteer Scholarship
