Early Childhood Care Provider Student Loan Repayment

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident with an associate's, bachelor's, or graduate degree with a concentration in early childhood development or an equivalent program, and must agree to work a minimum of 31 hours per week as an employee, owner, or volunteer in a licensed child care facility for a minimum of two years.

Non-Traditional Student Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion and be a non-traditional student returning to classes after some period of time in which formal education was interrupted or a student who has had at least one year of college and demonstrates financial need. Selection is based upon financial need, scholastic standing/academic achievement, character/leadership, and initiative/goals.

 

Clauder Competition

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a playwright from New England, attending a college in New England, or be a New England resident attending a college out-of-state. Applicant must submit an original manuscript. Play must have a running time of at least one hour and require a maximum of eight actors. Winning play will be presented as a developmental reading during Portland State Company's Little Festival of the Unexpected and a full production during Mainstage Season at Portland Stage. Two finalist winners will receive a professional reading of their play.

Ralph Flamminio Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Pennsylvania resident who is a student at a two- or four-year institution, or actively enrolled in a graduate program. Applicant does not need to be a journalism major, but should be determined to pursue a career in print journalism. Applicant should be active in their campus newspaper or have print journalism experience.

 

Technical and Community College Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a student member of ASM International Foundation. Application information can be found through local ASM chapter.

 

National Academy for Nuclear Training Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be enrolled full-time in an accredited four-year institution and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit essay describing educational goals and interest in careers in the nuclear power industry. Applicant must list planned or desired summer employment, co-op assignments, or internships. Applications must be endorsed and sent by the applicant's school. Selection is based upon academic performance, eligible major, and potential for career in the nuclear power industry. Preference will be given to those students indicating specific interest in and preparation for careers in the U.S. nuclear power industy. Students with commitments/obligations that prevent availability for possible nuclear power industry employment immediately after graduation are not eligible.

 

May M. Walker Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled full time in the College of Law, show evidence of ability to succeed, and demonstrate financial need.

 

Bruzzy Westheimer Scholarship

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident, a full-time student, and a Leadership Program Associate in good standing and have a minimum 3.25 GPA.

 

3M Award

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a sophomore and be willing to participate in an internship between junior and senior years at 3M headquarters.

 

Ted S. and Cuba Webb Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must have high SAT Reasoning or ACT scores. Preference given to applicant who has graduated from an accredited high school in the greater Forth Worth and/or Tarrant County, Texas, or adjacent geographical area.

 

Oklahoma Garden Clubs, Inc. Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled full-time. Applicant must submit application and letters of recommendation.

 

George and Cleo Cross Summer Research Fellowship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrated financial need. At the end of summer research fellow must submit a five-page report to the scholarship committee.

 

Graduate Fellowship in Mathematics

Awarded to students who have superior academic records and are making good progress in their programs of study. Applicant must be nominated by faculty.

Mary L. Reynolds Memorial Scholarship

Award must be used to defray tuition, airfare, and lodging expenses for the Oxford Summer Law Program in England. Selection is based upon need and scholastic standing.

 

Mary Macklanburg Award

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident. Selection is based upon merit and need.

 

American Association of University Women (AAUW)- Selected Professions Fellowship

Award: $9,500, Deadline: December 15

Special consideration given to applicants who show professional promise. Award is for tuition, fees, books, supplies, local transportation, and dependent care in the final year of study.

 

Arnold and Bess Ungerman Charitable Trust Scholarship
