Applicant must rank in top quarter of their graduating class, have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score greater than or equal to 1100 (composite ACT score greater than or equal to 24), or have a high school GPA greater than or equal to a 3.5.

 

Molloy Scholars

Dominican Academic Scholarship

Richard T. Murray Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time student in the business division who achieved junior level status majoring in accounting or is enrolled in the M.B.A. program. Applicant must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants funded by their employer will not be considered. FAFSA, application, and essay required to be submitted.

Academic Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.4 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 20. Selection is based upon academic ability and performance.

 

Performance Scholarship

Selection is based upon talent and potential in art, broadcasting, forensics, music, or theatre.

 

Appalachian Regional Grant

Applicant must live in Appalachian County as defined by the Appalachian Regional Commission.

 

President's Honorary Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and significant co-curricular record.

 

President's Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must have an exceptional record of leadership in classroom and community and/or co-curricular activities while demonstrating outstanding academic achievement.

 

General John J. Pershing Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior who demonstrates preeminent intellectual capability and energetic leadership in the classroom, school, and community. Top candidates often score in the top three percent nationally on the ACT or SAT. Interview is required. In order to receive award, applicant must be accepted for admission to the university by January 15. Recipient has the option of spending a semester or summer studying abroad. University coordinates the study abroad programs and provides funding to the extent of $4,000 for the semester or a proportionate amount for the summer. Recipient will become a member of the Pershing Society, which promotes intellectual and social enrichment. Award is one of the most prestigious scholarships offered to high school graduates.

 

Combined-Ability Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: January 15

Selection and award amounts are based on the percentile of standardized test scores, high school GPA, and high school class rank. Recipient is automatically considered and notified of their scholarship in their official acceptance letter from the University. Applicant with a 170 combined ability or higher will receive an award ranging from $2,000 to $3,000.

 

University Scholar Award

Award: $23,000, Deadline: December 1 (admittance date)

Applicant must rank in top 5% of their secondary school class or have a minimum 3.75 GPA with a minimum composite ACT score of 33.

 

Leadership Award

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

Applicant must demonstrate leadership potential.

 

Merit Scholarship

Award: $8,100, Deadline: June 1 (recommended)

Applicant must be a first-year or new transfer student who attends full-time. Award is based upon academic achievement and co-curricular activity involvement.

 

Richard Green Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 25

Awarded to applicant who will contribute to cultural diversity of the university. Selection is based upon GPA, class rank, ACT scores, community involvement, and essay. Financial need is considered.

 

Presidential - Founders Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: December 15 (fall); October 15 (spring)

Students will be automatically considered for award using their admissions application to the university. Strong GPA, class rank, and ACT scores will be considered.
