Applicant must be of Swiss descent or have a parent who is a Swiss citizen, and be a US permanent resident. Award may be used at a Swiss university or federal institute of technology only.

 

Out-of-State Fee Stipend

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA or rank in the top quarter of class, have a minimum composite ACT score of 24, and may not be a resident of Missouri.

Applicant must be the child or grandchild of an alumni and may not be a resident of Missouri. Entering freshman applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA or rank in the top quarter of class and have a minimum composite ACT score of 24. Transfer applicants must have completed at least 24 credit hours and have a minimum 3.25 GPA.

 

Out-of-State Fee Waiver for the Performing Arts

Lighthouse International's Scholarship and Career Awards

Applicant must reside and attend school in the United States and be legally blind. Awards based on academic and personal achievements. Application, essay, proof of U.S. citizenship, transcripts, and letters of recommendation are required to be submitted.

Applicant must attend the Harpur Coll full time, be a resident of New York, demonstrate academic excellence, and financial need.

 

McNair Scholars Finalist Award

Dance Non-Resident Tuition Waiver

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a full-time, non-resident student with a minimum 2.75 GPA.

 

New York State Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Award: $1,500, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, a New York resident, and the top graduating senior of a New York state high school (maximum award), or other academically gifted student (minimum award). Applicant must be enrolled in a New York college for at least 12 credits. Selection based on Regents exam scores. FAFSA and TAP application required.

 

Aid to Native Americans

Award: $2,000, Deadline: July 15 (fall); December 31 (spring)

Applicant must be an enrolled member of a New York State tribe and their children who are attending, or planning to attend a college in New York State and are New York State residents. There is no qualifying examination. Awards are available for two-, four- or five-year programs.

 

NYS Regents Award for Child of Veteran

Award: $450, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be the child of a veteran who died, was a prisoner of war, was missing in action, became 40% disabled in service, or was a recipient of an expeditionary medal for participation in specific operations. Parent must be a current New York resident, or have been at time of death. FAFSA and TAP application required.

 

Veterans Tuition Awards

Award: $5,295, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a New York State resident discharged under honorable conditions from the U.S. Armed Forces and who are one of the following: Vietnam Veteran who served in Indochina between December 22, 1961 and May 7, 1975; Persian Gulf Veteran who served in the Persian Gulf on or after August 2, 1990; Afghanistan Veteran who served in Afghanistan during hostilities on or after September 11, 2001; or Veteran of the armed forces of the United States who served in hostilities that occurred after February 28, 1961 as evidenced by receipt of an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal, or a Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal. Applicant must also be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen who has matriculated as an undergraduate or graduate degree-granting institution or in an approved vocational training program in New York State.

 

Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)

Award: $5,000, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen who is a New York resident studying full-time (at least 12 credits per semester) at an approved New York post-secondary institution. Applicant must be matriculated in an approved program of study, be in good academic standing, and meet income requirement.

 

Persian Gulf Veterans Tuition Award

Award: -, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a New York resident who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the hostilities that occurred in the Persian Gulf from August 2, 1990, to the end of hostilities as evidenced by receipt of the Southwest Asia Service Medal which was awarded from August 2, 1990, to November 30, 1995 and has been discharged under other than dishonorable conditions. Applicant must be enrolled at an undergraduate or graduate degree-granting instiution or in an approved vocational training program in New York State. Applicant must have applied for a Tuition Assistance program award if full-time and have applied for a federal Pell Grant for full-time or part-time undergraduate study or enrollment in a vocational training program. Applicant must establish eligibility by submitting Persian Gulf Veterans Tution Award Supplement available from school or college financial aid office, veterans' office, or HESC.

 

New York State Memorial Scholarships

Applicant must be a New York resident, be the child or spouse of a New York police officer, firefighter, volunteer firefighter, peace officer, or emergency medical services worker who died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty, and be studying full time in an approved undergraduate program at a New York post-secondary institution. To establish eligibility, applicant must submit Memorial Scholarship Supplement, available from HESC. FAFSA and TAP applications required.

 

Blue & Gold Level 1 Scholarship

Applicant must be an incoming freshman who is a not a resident of West Virginia.

 

Generations Non-Resident Tuition Waiver

SSU Development Foundation Diversity Scholarship

Applicant cannot be a resident of Ohio or have attended high school in Ohio. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and preference is given to minorities.

 

Non-Resident Transfer Student Merit Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student with a minimum 3.8 GPA who is not a resident of Utah. Applicant must have completed a two0year college associate degree program or its equivalent in a state contiguous to Utah.

 

Excellence in Accounting Scholarship

Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident who is a resident of New York. Applicant must be enrolled at or accepted to a New York college or university with plans to major in accounting. Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and completed FAFSA required.

 

Session Internship

Graduate Internship

Applicants must be in a program in New York State or a New York resident attending school out-of-state. Recipients serve as research assistants or assistant counsels.

 

President's Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, minimum composite ACT score of 23 or combined SAT Reasoning score of 1070, and be an out-of-state resident.

 

General Nonresident Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a nonresident, demonstrate high academic achievement, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a first degree-seeking student enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester). Incoming freshman applicant must rank in top 3% of secondary school class. Sophomore, junior, and senior applicants must be current or previous recipients of award. Recipients must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Arizona community service off campus at a nonprofit agency during year of award.

 

Marie Shea Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a nonresident of Arizona and a full-time student and demonstrate financial need.

 

Alumni Legacy Scholarship

Applicant must be the child of a parent who has a degree from U of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is a current member of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Applicant must be a nonresident of Arkansas and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a composite ACT score of 24-36 (combined SAT I score of 1110-1600). Applicant must submit Arkansas Alumni Legacy Data Form and apply for and be accepted for admission.

 

Legacy Tuition Reduction Grant
