This merit based program encourages top ranked high school seniors to attend college. Applicants must be Missouri residents who are present or former members of 4-H and who are rising undergraduate freshmen who are planning to major in veterinary medicine, pre-veterinary medicine or animal science. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a four-point scale. Preference will be given to those who will be enrolling at the University of Missouri College of Agriculture as freshmen. Selection is based on 4-H achievements, stated career goals and financial need.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are enrolled at an accredited college or university located in Missouri. They must have completed coursework in subjects relating to the water supply industry (such as environmental engineering, civil engineering or environmental science). Students who are receiving funding from an employer are ineligible. Selection is based on coursework relevance, GPA, financial need, recommendations, personal essay and extracurricular activities.

Applicants must be full-time undergraduates, full-time graduate students or part-time graduate students enrolled at a postsecondary institution located in Kansas or Missouri. They must be majoring in a subject that is related to facility management (such as business operations, construction science, interior design, environmental design, architecture or engineering). Selection is based on stated career goals, GPA, recommendations, extracurricular activities and applicant interview.
