Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1
Applicants must be pursuing a major in one of the following fields: agronomy, plant breeding and genetics, economics, finance, pulp and paper technology, transportation, crop science, plant science or agricultural business management. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Applicants must live in Iowa and plan to attend a college in Iowa or Illinois. Preference is given to applicants with a specific interest in transportation. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicants must be Iowa residents, be incoming freshmen at an Iowa college or university and have experience in 4-H and/or FFA livestock projects. They must have plans to major in animal science, agriculture or a related subject. Preference will be given to applicants from Polk County. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
Award: $1,000, Deadline: September 5
Applicants must be enrolled in an approved Physician Assistant (PA) degree program at a postsecondary institution located in Iowa. They must have had an outstanding undergraduate academic record, strong leadership skills and a well-developed knowledge of the role of the professional physician assistant. Selection is based on academic merit, demonstrated leadership ability, commitment to the field of physician assisting, extracurricular activities and professional awareness.

Applicants must be Iowa residents who are enrolled at or who plan to enroll at a two-year or four-year postsecondary institution located in Iowa. They must be majoring in or have plans to major in an agriculture-related undergraduate program that focuses on swine production. They must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicants must be members of the Iowa Golf Course Superintendents Association (GCSA). They must be Iowa residents or must be non-residents of Iowa who are enrolled at a postsecondary institution located in Iowa. They must be studying turfgrass management or a related subject. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicants must be enrolled at or plan to enroll in an Iowa college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must intent to pursue a law oriented career including attorney, paralegal, legal assistant or investigator.
Award: $6,000, Deadline: May 1
Applicants must be current students enrolled in a two-year institution in the Transfer Times distribution area of Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wisconsin. Students must be transferring to a four-year institution that advertises in the Transfer Times.
