Applicant must be a Tennessee resident and United States citizen who is a minority student enrolled full-time at an eligible Tennessee post-secondary institution. Applicant must be an entering freshman with a 2.75 high school GPA with at least an 18 ACT/860 SAT on a national test date. Continuing college students with a 2.5 cumulative GPA may also apply.
Loan forgiveness program.
Recipient must maintain a 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment.
Recipient will incur a teaching obligation one year for each year award is received; must be repaid if obligation is not met.
