Applicant must have received a Ph.D. degree between January 1, 2014 and September 1, 2015. Applicant is expected to pursue research programs of their own conception and design, and they should state clearly why they believe that their professional goals would be furthered through research opportunities at the CfA. Demonstration of capability for original research through first-author referred publications in major astronomy journals is required.
Postdoctoral Program Awards is designed for candidates whose interests and proposed research programs fall under an active field of research at the CfA. Fellowship is awarded for a period of two years.
Award is in the form of a stipend, plus a research budget of $16,000 for full health benefits and relocation expenses ($7,500).
Recipient must maintain satisfactory progress.
