Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 30
Applicant must be a New York resident who is an undergraduate student attending a college or university in the state of New York wishing to pursue a career in the thoroughbred industry (includes, but not limited to equine science, equine business management, farrier school, and equine-related agriculture programs). Essay, two letters of recommendation, official transcript, student aid report, and financial aid award letters are required to be submitted.
Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15
Applicant must be an undergraduate at the University of Florida who excels in the art and science of equine practice.
Award: $400, Deadline: July 15
Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue a degree in animal science or equine studies. Community service, financial need, and leadership skills must be demonstrated.
Award: $500, Deadline: February 1 (admitted deadline); February 15 (scholarship application deadline)
Applicant must be majoring in an equine science-related field. Minimum 2.0 GPA required of freshmen; 2.5 GPA required of transfer students with 24 credits. Academic proficiency and leadership must be demonstrated.
