Magarian Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a upper level high school student, college student, or graduate student. Resume, personal statement, transcript, essays, and letters of recommendation required.

 

$14,000 MBA Scholarship

Award: $14,000, Deadline: July 31 (fall); October 31 (spring)

Applicant must be a United States resident who has a bachelor's degree (applicants without a business undergraduate degree are required to take 16 courses to complete their program) and enroll in a minimum of 12 credit units per semester. Minimum 3.0 GPA, two letters of recommendation, personal essay, and resume are required.

 

$10,500 MBA Scholarship

Award: $10,500, Deadline: July 31 (fall); October 31 (spring)

Applicant must be a United States resident who has a bachelor's degree and enroll in a minimum of 12 credit units per semester. Minimum 3.0 GPA, two letters of recommendation, personal essay, and resume are required.

 

Le Petit Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 15; December 15

Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in the United States. A 500-word essay regarding a military leader or military victory is required.

 

Anna May Rolando Scholarship Award

Award: $500, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a nursing student with a disability. Preference given to a graduate student who has demonstrated a commitment to working with people with disabilities. Three letters of recommendation, essay, and medical verification required.

 

Future Leaders Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: August 15

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is a full-time student attending (or planning to attend on a full-time basis) an accredited law school. Minimum 3.5 GPA and essay on how personal injury law positively affects social change are required.

 

Davis-Levin Livingston Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is authorized to work in the United States and who is attending law school in the fall of the same year following the application. Minimum 3.0 GPA and essay required.

 

Farzad Family Law Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be a pre-law or law student who is currently admitted to and attending an undergraduate degree program at an accredited American university or college or are admitted to and attending a state-accredited law school. Essay on the following question is required: Should the right to marry for same sex couples become a federal constitutional right by amendment to the United States Constitution or remain a State issue?

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student in the United States. Essay on the following topic is required: What are the benefits of using funds in your 401k, IRA or other retirement account to finance your business or franchise?

 

Startup Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 15

Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident who is an undergraduate student majoring in business, management, accounting, or a related field or a student pursuing an M.B.A. Minimum 3.0 GPA and essay are required.

 

CITIDental Boston Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be studying dentistry. Essay on the following questions is required: As you pursue your dental career, how would your dental training and skills benefit the less fortunate? How would you utilize your skills to help these communities? Where and how would you do it? How exactly would your plan improve the well-being of these communities?

 

Respiratory Care Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 31

Applicant must be a legal U.S. resident who is an undergraduate or graduate student with a respiratory condition. Creative video under three minutes answering two questions found on sponsor's site is required.

 

Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program

Award: $1,500, Deadline: July 15

Applicant must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment with a declared major in a science-related field. Applicant must make a top 10 list of reasons why they think science is awesome and write a personal statement on how they plan to use their degree to further advance science in their field of interest.

 

The Randy Pausch Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate student or graduate student attending an accredited university in the U.S pursuing a degree related to the developing of interactive entertainment. Some examples include art, animation, programming, game design, and sound design majors. Minimum 3.3 GPA, two page letter, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

Gypsy Lore Society Young Scholars' Prize

Award: $500, Deadline: October 30

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student. Required to write an under 50 page paper on Gypsy and Traveler Studies.

 

Accounting or Finance Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: August 30

Applicant must be a legal U.S. resident currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university or business school in the United States. Essay on the following questions is required: What compels you to study accounting, business and/or finance? What is your end goal, and how do you think you will make a difference in this field? Minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

MALDEF Law School Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: January 27

Applicant must be enrolled at a U.S. accredited law school and demonstrate a commitment to advancing the civil rights of the Latino community. Resume, personal statement, transcripts, and one letter of recommendation required. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

The United Methodist General Scholarship

Award: $2,030, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must be an active full member of the United Methodist Church for at least one year who is a college student at a U.S. accredited institution. Minimum 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment status required. International students may apply if they are a member of United Methodist Church for at least three years.

 

The Elvina Jane Owen Award

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must be an active full member of the United Methodist Church for at least one year who is a college student pursuing a degree in education. Minimum 2.85 GPA and full-time enrollment status required. Preference given to students in the Jonestown District of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference.

 

The Fred Heather Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must be an endorsed individual who is completing requirements for a professional certification, advanced training, or the Association of Clinical Pastor Education super-visor certification.

 

The Georgia Harkness Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must be a female who is at least 35 years old pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at any university senate approved school of theology. Preference given to those who have chosen ministry as a second career. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

The HANA Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must be of Hispanic, Asian, Native American, or Pacific Island descent who is an upper level undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student and has been a full and active member of the United Methodist Church for at least three years. Minimum 2.85 GPA required.

 

The Miriam Hoffman Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 5

Applicant must an undergraduate or graduate student who is pursuing a vocational career in music education or music ministry. Must be an active full member of the United Methodist Church for at least one year. Minimum 2.5 GPA and full-time enrollment status required.

 

FWA Graduate Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 29

Applicant must be a woman who is currently enrolled or accepted into a graduate business program at a Bay Area college/university or a school satellite campus located within one of the Bay Area counties. Must be pursuing a degree in finance or the financial services industry. Minimum 3.4 GPA, resume, essay, transcript, current photo, and two letters of recommendation required.

 

Wire Reinforcement Institute Education Foundation Graduate Student Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a graduate program at an accredited educational institution in the U.S. or Canada. Selection is primarily based on academic achievement, career goals and extracurricular involvement. Applicants must maintain at least twelve credit hours per semester.

Applicant must be a Marine Technology Society member who is a full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in a marine-related field who has shown commitment to community service or volunteer work. The Paros-Digiquartz Scholarship

Dieter Family Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a Marine Technology Society member who is an undergraduate or graduate student. Statement of interest, biographical sketch, and statement of financial need required. Recipient will receive up to $500 for travel-related expenses to a MTS/IEEE Oceans Conference.
