William G. Pollock Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate strong community and campus involvement, financial need, and scholastic achievement.

 

William D. Puzo Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate community and campus involvement, financial need, and scholastic achievement.

 

Student-Parent Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: October 15

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate community and campus involvement, financial need, and scholastic achievement. Applicant must be the parent of one or more dependent children.

 

John Burnham Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a business or pre-business student, have a minimum 2.75 GPA, and demonstrate financial need and a career objective in business.

 

Graduate Equity Fellowship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be a graduate student who is underrepresented in his/her area of study.

 

Robert H. and Catherine H. Goldsmith Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: None

Applicant must demonstrate financial need, academic merit, and the potential to become a contributing professional. The purpose of the award is to encourage students who have completed an undergraduate degree in business to further their education by enrolling in the school's MBA program.

 

Evalee C. Schwarz Charitable Trust for Education

Award: $15,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must demonstrate exceptional academic performance and financial need. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $4,000 or less and attend school in the state in which they reside. Applicant must also have an outstanding combination of standardized scores (ranking in the top 10% of scores nationally) and grades. Law students or pre-law students are not eligible to apply.

 

Emily A. Howard Award

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and at least 60 credit hours and must be known as one who uses his/her hardships as challenges to grow stronger and is enthusiastic about the opportunity to become a teacher.

 

Alice Lancaster

Award: $300, Deadline: February 14

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and 80 credit hours, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled in the Teacher Education Department and seeking elementary teacher certification. Preference is given to applicant with the best letter of intent.

 

Debate Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate intent to pursue a degree in the College of Communication, and be an active participant in the debate program. Graduate Assistants acting as debate coaches are also eligible for the scholarship.

 

Chinese Civic Association of Hawaii Asian Studies Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled in the M.A. Program in China-U.S. Relations.

 

School of Communication Alumni Scholarship

Freshman applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be registered full time in the School of Communication. Graduate applicant must be entering the School of Communication with a minimum 3.5 GPA.

 

General College Scholarship Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 6

Applicant must be a college student who is a United States citizen or legal permanent resident and is of Hispanic heritage. Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam.

 

Geoffrey C. Bain, Jr. Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a full-time student with junior, senior, or graduate standing, who is pursuing a degree in national resources.

 

$10,000 College Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: July 15

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Selection is based upon random draw.

 

Billings Broadcasters Media Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be enrolled full time, demonstrate financial need, and major in an area related to the broadcast industry.

 

Briggs Distributing Co., Inc./John and Claudia Decker Endowed Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to children of Briggs Distributing Co., Inc. employees.

 

Big Y Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must attend school or have their permanent residence in western or central Massachusetts, Norfolk County, MA, or the state of Connecticut. Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited college or university. Selection is based upon transcript of grades, college board scores, letters of recommendation, and personal resume. Dr. C. Rockne Copple Graduate Studies Student Endowed Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, be enrolled in at least nine credits, be pursuing a master's in Rehabilitation Counseling or School Counseling, and submit three letters of reference.

 

M.C. Gallagher Endowed Scholarship

Award: $480, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, graduate from a high school in Yellowstone, Stillwater, Carbon, Bighorn, or Treasure counties, and demonstrate a desire to succeed in education. Preference is given to applicant who demonstrates financial need.

 

Anthony Gerharz Scholarship

Award: $950, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 2.75 overall GPA and a minimum 3.0 GPA in business courses. Preference is given to member of the Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Kenneth W. Heikes Family Endowed Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and a minimum 3.25 GPA in major, be enrolled in the teacher education program, and demonstrate financial need.

 

Florence Steele Kem Scholarship

John R. Rhine Scholarship

Sports Medicine Scholarship

Applicant must be fully admitted to the Athletic Training Program and submit a resume and one-page essay on why he/she wants to be an athletic trainer.

Two Ten Footwear Design Scholarship

Applicant must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen who is studying design and is enrolled in a recognized design program with a focus on footwear. Awards are based on design potential, academic record, and financial need. Design portfolio is required. Scholarship is offered to students interested in pursuing a career in Footwear Design. Orfalea Migrant Education Scholarship Award

Award: $1,700, Deadline: January 11

Applicant must meet one of the following criteria: be an incoming sophomore, junior, or senior who participated in CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program) during their freshman year at a participating CSU or community college; be a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior who participated in the Migrant Education program at a Ventura County high school; be an incoming graduate student who participated in CAMP or the Migrant Education Program.
