Fordham University - Achievement and Investment in Merit Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: June 30

This program is a merit-based award to New York high school graduates who have achieved academic excellence as a high school student and who enroll or plan to enroll in a public or private New York college or university. Applicants must be legal residents of New York and U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens. Students must graduate from a New York high school with two of the following: a minimum 3.3 GPA; designation 'with honors' on a New York State Regents diploma or a score of three or higher on two or more Advanced Placement examinations; or ranked within the top 15 percent of their high school class. An annual award of $500 is given to up to 5,000 recipients.

 

Resume Companion $1,000 Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in a U.S. college or university and must write a resume about a fictional or non-fictional character from the past or present.

Applicants must be high school seniors who have participated in a U.S. Youth Soccer program during the past two years. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on community service and the desire to give back to the game of soccer.

Applicants must be female Dixie Softball participants, be high school seniors and have played softball for at least two seasons. Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement and future goals.

Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Students must also have been accepted to a college or university and plan to play competitive golf at the collegiate level. Selection is based on financial need.

Applicants must be between 7 and 17 years of age and have an interest in playing golf or be currently involved in golf. Students must reside within one of the LPGA T&CP Midwest Section States. Selection is based on the personal essay and letters of recommendation.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors and be accepted for the upcoming year at an institute of higher education. Students' parents or step-parents must have been a GCSAA member for five or more consecutive years. Applicants' parents or step-parents must be a currently active GCSAA member as one of the following classifications: A, B, C, Retired-A or AA life. Selection is based on leadership, academic achievement, outside employment and community and extracurricular involvement.

Applicants must be attending or plan on attending an active NCTTA school and plan on being active on the collegiate team. Students must be full time and have at least a 2.0 GPA. Selection is based on table tennis skill, academic achievement, financial need and a personal essay. The essay should explain your involvement and contributions to the sport of table tennis.
