Macalester College MN Academic Excellence Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: August 1

This program assists students who have demonstrated outstanding ability, achievement, and potential in one of several critical subject areas. Applicants must be Minnesota high school graduates and enroll full time and in a baccalaureate degree granting program. The scholarship can be renewed annually for up to three academic years. Charles R. Hemenway Memorial Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: March 2

Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be Hawaii residents and have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Applicants must also be enrolled at least half-time at any of the campuses of the University of Hawaii. Selection is based on character and "qualities of good citizenship."

 

Warner University - Tuition Waiver Exchange Program

Award: $25,000, Deadline: December 31

The program allows the children of faculty members, staff and administrators of Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) affiliated colleges to attend a CCCU-affiliated college tuition free. The Tuition Waiver Exchange Program (TWEP) is open to undergraduate dependents of full-time faculty, staff and/or administrators who have been at the sending institution for one full year prior to TWEP participation. Students admitted under the program are automatically renewed for up to four years as long as the student remains in good standing. Students apply directly to the institution(s) of their choice and must meet normal admissions requirements. Applicants should contact the admissions office at the 'sending institution' to begin the process.

Marilynn Smith Scholarship

Applicants must have played at least 50 percent of their high school team's schedule or played competitive junior golf for the past two years. Students must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, have a 3.2 GPA or higher, be accepted to attend a college or university and plan on playing competitive golf while attending college. Selection is based on the personal essay, letters of reference and financial need.

Applicants may be junior high, high school or college students who have been involved with Little People of America. Preference is given in the following order: LPA members with medically diagnosed dwarfism, immediate family members of LPA members diagnosed with dwarfism and non-LPA members with dwarfism.
