Scholarships in Berks

SICO Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be a first-time college student enrolling full-time and must be a resident of Delaware; or Adams, Berks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, or York County in Penn.; or have graduated from Delmar High School in Del. or from Boyertown, Spring Ford, or Williams Valley high school in Penn.

 

Eugene L. Shirk Memorial Scholarship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: December 15

Selection is based upon leadership, community service, and academic performance.

Schock Foundation Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15 (Priority)

Applicant must be an entering freshman who lives in the following Pennsylvania counties: Adams, Berks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, or York.

 

W.W. Smith Charitable Trust Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15 (Priority)

Freshman applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum combined SAT I score of 900. Applicant must be in good academic standing and reside in the Delaware Valley.

 

W.W. Smith Charitable Trust Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a resident of the Delaware Valley and must demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and involvement in extracurricular and/or community service activities.

 

Steinbright Scholarship

Award: $30,000, Deadline: None

Selection is based upon academic and leadership achievements. One award is given to the strongest applicant attending high school in each of the following counties: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.

 

Community Outreach

Award: $4,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a resident or graduate of a high school within the following Pennsylvania counties: Berks, Chester, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Schuylkill.

 

Dunkin' Donuts Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a high school senior who plans to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year of four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the fall. Some requirements vary by county.
