Applicant must be a graduating senior from Franklin High School who has taken three or more years of a foreign language and will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Gordon Van Alst Math Achievement Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Franklin High School who shows an interested and diligent effort in the study of mathematics. FAFSA required.

 

Franks Foundation Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Klamath, or Lake County who will major in nursing or theology at a public or nonprofit college. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 GPA (2.0 for college students) required. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relatives are not eligible.

 

Graduate Student Education Award

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a 5th-year senior or graduate student for the fall term/semester and pursuing a masters degree in education or an education-related field at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. Applicant must be working (and continue to work) while attending school. Preference to nontraditional students or students who are the first generation in their family to attend college. FAFSA required.
