Dustin Huffman Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Salem (Ohio) High School student. Award based on character, honesty, integrity, kindness, and compassion. Essay, two letters of recommendation, and interview required.

 

Lynch Family Legacy Scholarship

Applicant must be a Crown Point High School graduate who demonstrates leadership in school and community activities and who will be attending an accredited college or university. Essay, transcript, and proof of acceptance required.

LGBTQ Scholarship

Applicant must be a current or future leader in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ), and straight ally community from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington pursuing a post secondary education. Letter of recommendation and copy of transcript required. Resume and portfolio are optional.

 

California High School Senior Beverage Industry Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a California high school senior whose parents and/or grandparents are proprietors of, or employed by an individual or corporation holding a California liquor license. Must be attending a four-year college or university upon graduation. Community service and extracurricular activities must be demonstrated. Essay required.

 

California Community College Beverage Industry Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a California college student whose parents and/or grandparents are proprietors of, or employed by an individual or corporation holding a California liquor license. Two page essay required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required for transfer students.

 

Upperclassmen Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: July 1; December 1

Applicant must be a sophomore, junior, or senior college student who graduated from a high school in greater Middletown: Bishop Fenwick, Butler Tech, Edgewood, Franklin, Madison, Monroe, Middletown, and Middletown Christian High Schools. Graduates of a private school outside of the area must have lived in the Middletown, Edgewood, Franklin, Madison or Monroe public school districts. Academic success and financial need must be demonstrated. Two letters of recommendation required.

 

Traub-Dicker Rainbow Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a female who demonstrates academic excellence, outstanding community service, and commitment to impacting LGBT issues. Must be either a graduating high school senior planning to attend a college/university in the United States OR an already matriculated college student. Three essays, transcripts, and two letters of reference required.

 

Gene and John Athletic Fund Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: August 1

Applicant must be an LGBTQ athlete looking to continue their education and actively pursuing a sports career, either professionally or recreationally. Two essays and two references required.

Morris Hite Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: October 24

Applicant must be a junior or senior college student in the following North Texas counties: Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Grayson, Johnson, Kaufman or Tarrant pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in an advertising related major. Minimum 3.0 GPA, one to three letters of recommendation, and essay required. Work samples are encouraged but not required.

 

AVID Scholarship

Applicant must be a student in the AVID program for a minimum of three years who demonstrates a commitment to higher education despite personal and/or financial obstacles. Must have been accepted into an accredited four-year college or university. Commitment to the community must be demonstrated.

 

Brad Evans Scholarship

Applicant must be an Orange County high school senior from the Newport-Mesa Unified school district who has been accepted into an accredited program at the University of California, Berkeley and is enrolled as a full time student. Minimum 3.5 GPA, transcript, and essay required.

 

Case-Swayne Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from the Santa Ana Unified School District or the Corona-Norco School District who plans to enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, or vocational/trade school. Outstanding scholastic ability and financial need must be demonstrated. Essay and current transcript required.

Florida Striders Track Club College Scholarship

Applicant must be a Northeast Florida resident for the past two years who is a graduating high school senior and who is a runner and active in track and field events. Transcript, essay, and personal reference required.

 

Bob Caviness Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from an Aurora Public Schools' High School who participated in Robert F. Caviness Invitational for track. Must be U.S. citizen who is accepted into an accredited college, university, community college, or technical school. Minimum 2.5 GPA, copy of high school transcripts, two letters of recommendation, essay, and future resume required.
