Rhodes Scholarship

Applicant must be under the age of 23, be a U.S. citizen, have a minimum 3.7 GPA, student must have done serious work in a particular academic or literary area, display fine character, integrity, compassion for others, have strong intellectual ability and achievement. Students should have what Rhodes call "instincts to lead" and a sense of social responsibility, and should display fondness for and success in sports. Rhodes scholars will receive full support for two years of study at Oxford U.

 

Colorado Scholars

Applicant must be a resident of Colorado, have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at CU-Denver, with a minimum 3.5 GPA.

 

George J. Mitchell Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, age 18-30, have a B.A. degree and be a post-graduate studying in Ireland. Selection is based upon class standing, previous CU-Denver recipient of Regents' Scholarship and/or Colorado Scholars and response to essay questions.

 

GSPA Doctoral Student Fund

Applicant must demonstrate academic merit and financial need. Award is disbursed to Ph.D. students in the form of stipends and tuition assistance.

 

CU-IN-THE-CITY Incentive Award

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident status, be a resident of Colorado, demonstrate academic achievement, financial need and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Award is based on the number of credit hours taken: $500 per semester for nine or more credit hours; $250 per semester for three to eight credit hours.

 

William Robert Simmons Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA, demonstrate an exuberant and inquisitive attitude toward learning. Applicant must qualify for Colorado in-state tuition, be enrolled for six or more credit hours per semester.
