Education First Opportunity Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Michigan or Ohio who is new incoming freshman and eligible to receive the Pell Grant. Minimum 3.0 GPA and ACT composite score of 20 are required.

 

Emerald Scholarship

180 Medical Scholarship

Applicant must have spina bifida, a spinal cord injury, or transverse myelitis.

 

AFSA National Second Chance Contest

Award: $1,000, Deadline: Mid-August

Applicant must be a high school graduate living in the United States. Applicant must read the "Fire Sprinkler Essay" (approximately 3,000 words) about automatic fire sprinklers and take a 10-question multiple-choice test. For each question answered correctly, students will receive one entry into a drawing for one of five $1,000 scholarships. For each question answered incorrectly, they will be given one more chance at the end of the exam to answer those questions correctly. Online contest only. Phone calls, e-mails, or faxed applications will not be accepted.

 

Ohio College Opportunity Grant

Award: $1,872, Deadline: October 1

Applicant must be an Ohio resident who demonstrates the highest levels of financial need with an expected family contribution of $2,190 or less and a maximum household income of $75,000 as determined by the FAFSA results. Applicant must be enrolled at an eligible Ohio or Pennsylvania institution.

 

Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: July 15

Applicant must be an Ohio resident enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an approved Ohio nurse education program with financial need. Applicant must intent to serve as a nurse after graduation or nurse who intents to serve as an instructor in Ohio.

The Boeing Company Scholarship

Applicant must be a junior or senior at the time of the award and majoring in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, math). Demonstration of involvement in community service and minimum 3.25 GPA are required.

 

Richard E. Bangert Business Award

Applicant must be a junior or senior college student at the time of award who is majoring in business or a business related field. Financial need is required.

 

E.K. & Lillian F. Bishop Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must have a permanent home address in Grays Harbor County, WA. Essay on the impact Grays Harbor County has had on applicant is required. Demonstrated financial need also required.

 

David M. Irwin Friend of Higher Education Award

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a junior or senior college student at the time of the award. Selection is based upon ability to benefit from an independent college. Applicants with a cumulative GPA between 2.5 and 3.0 are encouraged to apply.

 

William G. Saletic Scholarship

Applicant must be a junior or senior college student at the time of the award who is majoring in politics or history. Applicants with a minimum 2.5 GPA are encouraged to apply.

 

Barbara C. Littlefield Vocal Scholarship

Award: $2,100, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 25 who is a resident of the state of Maine. Applicant must be a music major in the fall semester at any accredited music school, college, or university. Audition (not to exceed 15 minutes) requires applicants to perform at least two memorized compositions from two different periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Modern).

 

STEM Educator Scholarship

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is enrolled in a masters program at a TSGC member institution in good standing. Applicant must hold a bachelor's degree.

 

TSGC Fellowship

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is registered as a full-time student in a graduate program.

 

TSGC Columbia Crew Memorial Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 26

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States who is registered for at least a half-time course load or more at a TSCG member institution in good standing as: a sophomore at a two-year institution; a sophomore at a four-year institution; a junior or senior at a four-year institution; or a first or second year student at a medical school.

 

MC Scots Scholarship
