Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be pursuing a college degree or technical or vocational training. They must be spouses, children, stepchildren, grandchildren or persons for whom the soldier provided half of their support for the calendar year and have financial need. The applicant must be a permanent resident of New Jersey, or the soldier must have been a permanent resident of or have lived on a military base in New Jersey.

Applicants must be high-school seniors in the state of New Jersey planning on attending a public or private college or university in the state of New Jersey. Applicants must submit a 500- to 800-word essay on why they love New Jersey.
Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 28
Applicants must be New Jersey high school seniors who demonstrate academic engagement, moral character, and a commitment to their community. Students will need to describe some kind of hardship or adversity that they have overcome to reach their life goals.

Applicants must be residents of New Jersey. Students must be graduating high school seniors or current college students. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 31
Applicants must be U.S. citizens residing in the Philadelphia area, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Students must be enrolled or plan to enroll full-time at an accredited institution with the intention of earning a bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or business. Applicants must create a video in addition to completing the application.
