Applicant must be a graduating senior from Shenandoah High School enrolled in an accredited vocation-trade school.

 

Daniel Altmiller Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Columbus East or Columbus North High School who plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in education, occupational or physical therapy at an accredited college or university.

 

Analytical Engineering, Inc. (AEI) Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Columbus East, Columbus North, Hauser, Columbus Christian, or Trinity Lutheran High School who plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, computer science, physical science) at an accredited college or university. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Paul Arnett Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a Bartholomew County resident attending Franklin College as a full-time student.

 

Duane Barrows Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Columbus East or Columbus North High School who has participated in interscholastic sports.

 

Bartholomew/Brown County Medical Society Medical Education Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a resident of Bartholomew or Brown County who is entering medical school as a freshman or is in medical school as an upperclassmen at an American Medical Association approved medical school in the U.S.

 

Bartholomew County REMC Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a resident of Bartholomew County who plans to attend an accredited post-secondary institution. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Columbus East, Columbus North, or Hauser High School who will attend Purdue University and major in the field of agriculture.

 

Keith Bean Medical Scholarship

Applicant must be a past or current resident of Bartholomew or Brown County who are entering medical school as freshman or are upperclassmen at an American Medical Association approved medical school in the U.S and resided in Bartholomew or Brown County during their senior year of high school.

 

Mary E. Behler Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Bartholomew County high school who is an active, practicing Catholic and plans to attend an accredited post-secondary education institution.

 

Behrman 'Big Dog' Award

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Columbus North High School who played senior men's basketball or was a manager and plans to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

 

Todd & Julie Bergman Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Bartholomew County high school who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution. Financial aid must be demonstrated.

 

Anna Newell Brown Awards for Vocal Excellence

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 10

Applicant must be a Bartholomew County resident who is a high school sophomore, junior or senior vocalist. Scholarships are determined by a vocal competition conducted in February. Seniors compete for college scholarships and an invitation to audition with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic. Sophomores and juniors compete for scholarships for private lessons or music camps.

 

Betty F. Brown Awards for Instrumental Excellence

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 10

Applicant must be a Bartholomew County resident who is a high school sophomore, junior or senior instrumentalist. Scholarships are determined by an instrumental competition conducted in February. Seniors compete for college scholarships and an invitation to audition with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic. Sophomore and juniors compete for scholarships for private lessons or music camps.

 

Frank Burbrink Memorial 4-H Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Bartholomew County high school who has participated in 4-H, including the current year, for at least five years and will attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

 

Dr. Glenn E. Callaway Dental Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a past or current resident of Bartholomew County who resided in Bartholomew County for at least four years during the time they attended grades 6-12 and is enrolling at or attending the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Abigail Carson Memorial Scholarship
