Centerpoint Medical Center Medical Staff Scholarship

Applicant must be an employee or the dependent of an employee of Centerpoint Medical Center who will major in a health-related field.

 

Brandon Gieselman 4-H/FFA Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a member of the Lafayette County 4-H club or FFA chapter who will pursue post-secondary education. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Georgia B. Northway Hemophilia Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a graduating senior or current college student who has a diagnosed blood disorder.

 

Haiku Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must be a current high school senior or college student. High school applicants must have taken the SAT Reasoning or ACT test and be graduating or earning a GED between August 1 and November 31; thus, enrolling in the spring as a freshman at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. College applicants must be full-time students at an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Haiku about cable TV is required.

 

American Heroes Grant

Award: $2,500, Deadline: Rolling

Applicant must be an active law enforcement officer, active firefighter, or active paramedic with a minimum 2.5 GPA, a minimum credit load of eight credits per quarter, and continuous enrollment each quarter.

 

Technology for Tuition Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman or current college student. Incoming freshmen applicants must have taken either the SAT Reasoning or ACT test and have graduated high school between January 1 and December 1. College students must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university between November 30 and May 31. Applicant must write a 300 to 500-word post about the impact of DVR use on television advertising and then post the article to their blog or website.

 

Mesothelioma Help Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: October 7

Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student who is currently enrolled in a college or university in the United States (U.S. territories are excluded). Applicant must write an essay/blog post on one of the topics about mesothelioma found on the sponsor's website.

 

David R. Jones IV Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 31

Applicant must have completed their sophomore year at an accredited college or university and be majoring in a field that is related to asphalt paving technology, such as civil engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry or other related majors. Preference will be given to applicants with experience and interest in the field of asphalt technology.

 

University Achievement Scholarship

Applicant must be a new student enrolling in the undergraduate degree program who has completed a minimum of 20 quarter credits or has earned an associate's degree in nursing or nursing diploma at a regionally or nationally accredited institution other than Kaplan University.

 

University Success Scholarship

Applicant must be a first-time enrollee in a bachelor's degree program at the university who has completed a minimum of 20 quarter credits at a regionally or nationally accredited institution other than Kaplan University. Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA is required.

 

Criminal Justice, Fire Science, and Emergency Services Scholarship

Applicant must be a first time enrollee in an online undergraduate criminal justice, fire science, or emergency management degree or certificate program. Applicant must have at least one year of full-time experience working in the criminal justice, fire science, or emergency management field.

 

75th Anniversary Grant

Applicant must be a first time enrollee in an undergraduate degree program at the university.

 

Employment Bridge Scholarship

Applicant must be a first time enrollee in an undergraduate degree program at the university. Applicant must be currently displaced from the workforce and provide proof of unemployment.

 

Single-Parent Scholarship

Applicant must be a first time enrollee in an undergraduate degree program at the university who is a single parent.

 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Applicant must be a first time enrollee in an undergraduate degree program at the university who is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

 

Accounting Alumni Scholarship

Applicant must be a junior or senior accounting major at Grand Valley State University. Minimum 3.2 overall GPA and 3.5 accounting GPA required.

 

Albert S. and Ella D. Koeze Art Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled full-time at Grand Valley State University as a junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in fine arts. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Alexander Calder Honor Scholarship

Amos Nordman Foundation Scholarship

American Photo Marketing Entrepreneurship Scholarship
