Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Gibson Southern High School who completed the coursework and demonstrated promise in the shop/welding vocational program and plans to pursue post-secondary education in vocational arts at any accredited college or university.

 

Betty Ann McCullough Education Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Princeton Community High SChool who demonstrates outstanding perseverance in mathematics and language arts and intends to continue education in the mathematics field. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Warren W. Parke Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wood Memorial High School who plans to pursue full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university and was involved in a school-sponsored sport each year of high school. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.

 

Abell Family String Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,100, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must be a student enrolled in or currently pursuing college coursework consistent with a degree in string music performance. Sampler performance on CD required.

 

Kylen C. Bares Memorial Scholarship Fund

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must be a student from the Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering or a student of a Memphis City high school.

 

Community Scholarship Fund

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must be a college student living in the Memphis metropolitan area who is involved in the community through volunteer activities with a nonprofit or community group.

 

Mildred Galloway Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who plans to pursue studies in the area of family and consumer sciences.

 

Zack Arnold Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Knox County high school who has been a member of the golf team for at least two years and plans to attend an accredited college or university in the U.S. Minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA required.

 

Heather Bird Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a spouse or active member of the Vincennes Township Fire Department with at least one year of service, or children of active members who are graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a two- or four-year degree-granting institution.

 

Ruby Holmes Hefley Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be the child of a parent(s) with a disability(ies) who is receiving Social Security Disability Insurance or Supplemental Security Income.

 

Persis McClure Hurst Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Knox County high school who plans to attend an Indiana college or university and either demonstrates interest or will major in english or history.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Vincennes Lincoln High School who enrolled in related arts/technical theater, chorus or band, participated in high school theatrical/musical productions, and plan to attend a two- or four-year college, university, or vocational school.

 

Velma and Herbert Pepmeier Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is affiliated with St. John's United Church of Christ in Vincennes or Bethel Church in Freelandville.

 

James A. Hyter Vocal Music Scholarship Fund

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must be a student who will be pursuing a vocal music degree. Audition is required.

 

Indian Community of Memphis Scholarship Fund

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must be a graduating senior from one of the following high schools: Booker T. Washington High School, East High School, Frayser High School, Kirby High School, Overton High School, or Whitehaven High School. Financial need is required.

 

Schott North America Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school graduate or graduating high school senior who is the natural, adopted or step-child of an employee of Schott North America, Inc. or Gemtron Corporation in Knox County who is enrolling at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational school to pursue a degree in business, engineering, environment, finance, general studies, law/legal studies, medicine/healthcare, sales/marketing, or science. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.
