Applicant must have a 3.0 GPA, competitive class rank and test scores (SAT or ACT). Applicant must have attended Indiana State University's Summer Honors Program.

 

Buffalo News Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must submit an essay describing interest and goals in journalism, demonstrate journalistic ability, and file FAFSA. Preference is given to an underrepresented minority who is willing and able to accept a paid summer internship at the Buffalo News.

 

Alman H. Cooke Scholarship

Presidential Honors Award

Applicant must have an unweighted grade average of 93, rank in the top seven percent of class, and have a minimum combined SAT I score of 1300.

 

William L. Tucker Scholarship

Selection is based upon class rank.

 

International Student Scholarship

Applicant must hold legal, non-immigrant status and be an international student. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, clearly defined degree goals, and meet all regular admissions requirements. Outstanding academic performance will be recognized.

 

Army ROTC Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, a minimum combined SAT score of 920, and have the ability to demonstrate academic abilities, leadership potential, and extracurricular activities. Applicant must be physically and mentally sound.

 

Portland Police Association Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must not be related to any member of the Portland Police Association. Financial need must be demonstrated. Scholarships will be awarded to one male and one female student.

 

Maurie Clark Fellowship

Award: $5,600, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a Ph.D. candidate with an approved dissertation outline and intend to use the fellowship to support research activities.

 

Music Department Tuition Remission Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate outstanding musical skill.

 

Walter D. Hershey Memorial Scholarship

Mark Twain Nonresident Scholarship

Applicant must rank in top 50% of graduating high school class, have a minimum composite ACT score of 27 (combined SAT I score of 1210), and be a resident of any state except Missouri.

 

Excellence Award

Applicant must be a Missouri resident, rank in the top 50% of high school graduating class and have a minimum composite ACT score of 27 (combined SAT I score of 1210).

 

CSU Chico Scholarship

NATA Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA, be a NATA member, pursue athletic training as a career, and be recommended by a certified athletic trainer. Other requirements vary depending on level of study.

 

Provost Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1250 (composite ACT score of 28) and minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA required.

 

Emerging Leaders Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 980 (composite ACT score of 21) and minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required. On campus housing and the purchase of a meal plan are required to receive the award.

 

First Scholars Program

Applicant must be a first generation college student who is an incoming first-time, full-time freshman with financial need. Applicant must intend to live on campus and apply for campus housing.
