Applicants must be active members of the Triangle Fraternity enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, have completed at least two full academic years of school and be undergraduates in the year following their application. Truckload Carriers Association Scholarship Fund

Applicants must attend or plan to attend college, be in good standing and be the children, grandchildren or spouses of an employee of a trucking company; applicants may also be the children, grandchildren or spouses of an independent contractor or independent contractors affiliated with a trucking company and attending a four-year college.

Applicants must be members of good standing of the UFCW with a membership of one continuous year or more or the unmarried children of a member. Applicants must also be graduating high school in the year of the competition and be less than 20 years old. Academic achievement, community involvement and essays are part of the selection process.

Applicants must produce an original film or video in one of the following categories: drama, comedy, music, documentary, news, magazine show, traditional or computer-generated animation, children's programming or commercials.
