Applicant must be a Massachusetts resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in Massachusetts (One $500 scholarship for the professional level, one $250 scholarship for an occupational therapy assistant program). Applicant must also be a member of the Massachusetts Association for Occupational Therapy.

 

Michigan Association Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a member of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association who is enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program (one scholarship for professional degree level, one for associates degree level).

 

The Mary Eileen Dixey Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a New Hampshire resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in New Hampshire at the professional Master's degree or Associate degree level.

 

Kermit B. Nash Academic Scholarship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: May 20

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is a member of SCDAA and has sickle cell disease. Award is for four years provided recipient maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA and submits college transcripts each semester.

Award: $500, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a New Mexico resident enrolled in any accredited occupational therapy educational program in New Mexico at the professional or Associate's degree level. Applicant must also be a member of the New Mexico Occupational Therapy Association.

 

New York Association Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a New York resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in New York State at the professional or associate degree level. Applicant must also be a member of the New York Occupational Therapy Association.

 

North Carolina Association Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a member of the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association who is enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program a the professional or associate level.

 

Ohio Association Scholarships

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be an Ohio resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy program in Ohio at the professional or associate degree level or a graduate educational program in a field related to occupational therapy.

 

Oklahoma Association Scholarships

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in Oklahoma at the professional or technical level. Applicant must also be a member of the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association.

 

Oregon Association Scholarship

Applicant must be an Oregon resident enrolled at Pacific University in the occupational therapy educational program.

 

The Chris Ebbers Scholarship

Applicant must be a South Carolina resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in South Carolina at the professional or associate degree level.

 

Texas Association Scholarships

Applicant must be a Texas resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy program in Texas at the professional, associate or certificate level. Applicant must also be a member of the Texas Occupational Therapy Association.

 

Judith Cary Leadership Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a student who is pursuing either a bachelor's or master's degree in special education. Completion of a minimum of two years of undergraduate work is required.

 

P. Buckley Moss Endowed Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior with a verified financial need, a verified language-related learning difference, and visual arts talent who has been accepted to an accredited four-year college or university or two-year community college and has the intent to pursue a career in a visual arts field.

AFA Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness College Scholarship

Applicant must be currently enrolled in a public, independent, parochial, military, home-school or other high school in the U.S. and plan on entering a four-year accredited college or university within 12 months of the application deadline. Essay on the following topic required: Write an essay about how Alzheimer's disease has changed or impacted your life and what you have learned about yourself, your family, and/or your community in the face of coping with Alzheimer's disease.

Essay addressing what the biggest problem in Hawai'i is and how you would solve it is required.

Recipients are strongly encouraged to provide a minimum of 10 hours of community service to the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement.
