New York State Memorial Scholarships

Applicant must be a New York resident, be the child or spouse of a New York police officer, firefighter, volunteer firefighter, peace officer, or emergency medical services worker who died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty, and be studying full time in an approved undergraduate program at a New York post-secondary institution. To establish eligibility, applicant must submit Memorial Scholarship Supplement, available from HESC. FAFSA and TAP applications required.

 

Malki Museum Scholarship

Applicant must be an enrolled member of a Southern California Indian reservation and must furnish proof of at least one-quarter Indian ancestry. Applicant must provide verification of acceptance/enrollment ant any accredited institute of higher learning.

Pamplin Scholars Program

Program consists of two awards: the Leadership Award and the Scholar Award. Leadership Award applicant must be a senior enrolled in a Virginia public high school and must have a minimum 3.75 GPA and rank in top 5% of class. One Leadership Award recipient will be selected to receive the Scholar Award.

 

National Merit Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist who has named Virginia Tech as his or her first choice college on the National Merit Semi-Finalist Application. Applicants who meet minimum requirements receive minimum award; award may be increased up to maximum amount based upon financial need as determined by FAFSA.

Athletic Scholarship

Awards offered by head coaches of seventeen intercollegiate teams through the Athletic Department. Selection is based upon university, NCAA, and conference guidelines.

 

Delores A. Auzenne Fellowship

Florida A&M University (FAMU) Feeder Program

Applicant must be a minority alumna of Florida A&M University who is newly admitted to a graduate program has a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

George Gordon Light Memorial Scholarship

National Physical Science Consortium Fellowship
